Very informative video and easy-to-follow instructions💯 I keyed in my model # GSD500P-45AW, but the image on the manual looks nothing like the dishwasher in my apartment, therefore I can't determine the age. The search results show a row of buttons. My model (DH 80647) only has a turn dial and a switch. Anyway TYFP❣

Thanks, but you only decoded the first two letters. What about the rest of the serial number? I am trying to find out how much cubic footage my GE washer has (it's about 15 years old and I didn't see anything in the manual). Where can I find THAT info? Please let me know. Kind thanks.

We don't believe that information is in the serial number. Sometimes it is in the model number.

The Washer in my rental house must be ancient. I cannot find the model or serial number on the GEAppliances website at all. It doesn't look that old. It looks like it was the cheapest one they were selling, whenever the LL bought it, but it works ok. I'm trying to get the manual, so I can figure out a few things, so I don't know how close I need to match the model number to get the same information. Can you help? Thanks.

What if your GE refrigerator is from the early 90s?!? I can’t find a serial number anywhere. There is a sticker on the side of the freezer door that says GE 18.2 cu ft no frost refrigerator-freezer, TBX18D, part #162D4834P069.
