​@@smoothoperator1870 heres a trick if you dont know it, when you approach a the boost, let go of the a button and you would get the green boost which could make you go more faster (this can be done with the boost balloons too)

Tuve este juego desde a finales del 97 y recuerdo haber desbloqueado a T.T como en el 2004, creo que ni sabia que se podia y nunca me llamo la atencion de jugar las carreras donde tenias que vencer su tiempo

Yes you can :) Once you have unlocked t.t , it’s in your file forever

My Copy of DKR was used and Drumstick and T.T. were already unlocked (Adventure 2 as well) so I don't get as much replay ability but at least DKR is a fun game and I am thankful I get to play it

I remember when I finally unlocked him I was so happy this is a childhood game and I still love it by the way I see a teen Titans DVD below your TV another childhood classic!

When I was younger I didn’t believe you could actually unlock him as a playable character. I just thought it was rumors. I played this game way too much as a kid and even all through growing up. When my brother and I were younger we weren’t very good. He was better than I was so he would beat the races while I stayed back and got 3 red balloons to blast any of the CPU’s that were close to passing him. I eventually got to the point of being better than my brother (for the car races) until I told him the other secrets beyond just A tapping. lol. I probably didn’t beat WizPig until in my 20s and I couldn’t unlock TT or beat the second WizPig until like a year ago. Even now I can only do it by using Pipsy for the car races because I can’t drift properly and I can’t play with any other characters handling and then switching to I think Drumstick for the plane and hovercraft races and holding R the whole time during those for better handling. Is there some secret to plane and hovercraft races that I still don’t know to this day? A tapping doesn’t seem to work for those. Also people say second WizPig is easier than the first one but I completely disagree. I also could not have achieved beating the game or unlocking TT or anything that isn’t a car race if I didn’t learn at that time that when you hit a turbo you should not press A again until the turbo is practically gone or fully gone.

Sorry for the late response. Great story ! The first wizpig race is definitely harder than the second one. Also the only thing that helped me unlock T.T. was the A tapping trick lol. That had to be the only way to win my races. Diddy Kong Racing is one of my favorite n64 games . Thanks for watching and subscribe if you haven't. I did the a buttton mashing trick. I kept tapping the a button to drive a little quicker than my original ghost and the t.t ghost . As a kid . It took me a lot longer trying to unlock T.T.
