Tbh I've been hating this set, I'm just hopping to get the last 2 cards that I'm missing to never open it again, the amount of fail packs that you get are ridiculous, with previous set in 10 packs I never got an L, both times I opened 10 packs on this were all 10 were L packs

Same as when you flip a coin, the more you flip, the more likely you'll throw an usual numbers of heads in a row, as well as tails in a row. They showed us in elementary, had us each flip a coin, and when we got tails, we stopped counting. Most of us stopped after couple flips. One guy flipped heads 23x in a row. It's bound to happen. True randomness is not "you'll go through every possibility before the odds reset," it is actually, "you will only notice the coincidences"

I've opened so many Genetic Apex packs, I'm still missing 12 cards from the main set, not even the rares. I just got my first Misty, because I bought it with pack points.

There seems to be a spectrum from set to set of how frequent the pulls are. Using the Sword & Shield era as an example - Crown Zenith pull rates were generally bangin’ and Darkness Ablaze(DA) was kinda low pull rates. I feel like Pokemon TCGP is lower pull rate. Even though it has more numerous hits than DA overall, especially with the new Mythical Island set, but the pull rate feels low nonetheless. Hope that made sense lol

F2p here, I still haven't pulled a second vaporeon and zero Golem. I've also pulled very little Ex, only reason I have 1 Celebi is wonder pick. Things I have pulled Ex's: 2 mew and 1 Gyradose. Full arts 3 Exeggutor, 1 dedenne, 2 marshadow and the 1 Vaporeon.

My luck also has a bad humor. I was trying to get together a Charizard deck at the start and focused on that pack a lot. A gave up eventualy as I have drawn one rainbow Moltres ex, one normal Motres ex, one illustration rare Starmie ex, three normal starmie ex, three illustration rare Glooms, one illustration rare Pinsir, two illustration rare Alakazams, two illustration rare slowpokes, one illustration rare charmander, two Machamp ex, one Exeggcutor ex and lots of other Ex cards that aren't pack exclusive but not one, NOT ONE Charizard (yes not even the regular one). Same with the new pack. The first more than ex rare card I got was Budding Expeditioner. I haven't drawn a single Mew-ex until now. This card just sits uselessly in my collection. I am a free packs only user btw.

I swear this game needs to have like a hidden rarity gauge. It sucks opening like 20 packs and you get nothing. Good at all no full arts nothing good they should be like a pity counter or something that will give you something good when you spend a certain amount of our glasses or gold

The game is definitely coded to some type of percentage rating for coin flips, wins/losses and pack openings. They make it entertaining enough to keep us in the app and spend money but digital card games will always lack the human element.

This is just a gut feeling but this games rng is not rng. There might be an algorithm that forces people to get only specific rares and coin flips. It's frustrating that even the wonderpicks is rigged and your picks don't even matter since it's predetermined from the moment you decide to spend your hourglasses. Even the card carousel is rigged.
