Excellent interview! Thank you. In early 2001, the Director I worked for took me to one of Donald Trumps’s golf courses in Northern California for lunch. On the dining room walls were all these covers of Time, Newsweek, Forbes magazine with Donald on the covers. They looked kinda sketchy not the level of covers these magazines usually have (before Photoshop was what it is now). I said wait, I subscribe to these magazines and Trump has not been on the cover during this time. I wrote down the dates, went home and found the issues, Trump was not the cover nor was he mentioned. He was perpetuating his big lie he was this massive success by creating bogus magazine covers touting his success. The amount of covers in the dining room at his golf course was abundant and obnoxious, and a total fabrication. And he continues the big lie to perpetuate his big grift. The harder he tries to build up this facade makes me ask, what is he trying to hide. World leaders see him as someone easily manipulated if they play to his enormous ego, and that’s why he is such a very real danger to our democracy.

The fact is simple: television saved Trump from bankruptcy and then created the creature we're oppressed by now.

There was enough information out there to show he's a con. His entire life of stealing money, meant for people that worked for him. Even his sister went public about him trying to coerce his sick father, to sign their inheritance over to him. It certainly didn't matter to republicans, and independents, that he had a fake charity, that literally stole money meant for children, sick with cancer. It didn't matter that he had defrauded many, thru his fake university either. It also didn't matter to them, that he's been a drug addict since at least the 1970's. Those are more than just red flags. Those are bombs.

Yes please, this is one that really gets my goat, when I first heard about it I was absolutely stunned, it's majorly concerning and frustrating and expected it to be a much bigger deal but it never seemed to get much attention from any of the press. It seems brushed under the rug and to this day the facts, to the extent there are any, seem to be extremely vague and and imo there is an astounding absence of curiosity from either those who supposedly have oversight over these things that work in government nor from any investigative journalism whose role is to inform the public especially when it's something so pertinent to so many aspects of our politics/zeightgeist/culture but also for national security, diplomatic relations, ethics, and everything in between. I would love to hear your analysis on this topic! Great show today!

The negative to building with these low-in come loans was Hud controlled rental no income did not allow any cash flow for twenty years. hmm - yes, I agree - most people think IF someone is rich - others seem to think that means he/she is "Smart' and 'successful' - when the reality is - that is not necessarily true. There are lots of people who are BORN rich and not so 'smart'.

Anthony you are much too intelligent to work for Trump. It would have made you ugly and very unhappy. You still have your brain and heart intact, and you’re still handsome! Everyone that “serves time “ under him ends up in ruins.

This is one of the most clear-eyed review of donald ive ever seen. No hyperbole or animus. I dislike everything about trump and his world view but I'll give him his due, he is a force of nature. I think the world missed out on a donald who could've done so much good with his strengths. It would be interesting to peek in on another timeline where he used his personality for good rather than self interest.

Him using his personality for good would never happen. He is a malignant narcissist and psychopath. It’s the dark triad of personality disorders. He is an empty vessel devoid of any true feelings. It’s rather sad but true.

I haven't finished the book yet, but I remember it mentioned a couple of times when Fred Sr. was around 77 he began to step back from working somewhat. Observing Donald at about that same age, it seems that his cognitive abilities are diminishing, and I wonder if it is possible that Fred was stepping back bc he recognized he was losing his mental acuity and given Fred's death from dementia at 86, maybe Donald is on the same course?

According to king Orange 400M “wasn’t that much” during the debate with Harris. Where I come from younger generations were taught “không ai giàu ba họ khó ba đời”. The wisdom from this is to do good is to create good karma for oneself. The person can inherit all the wealth in the world but doing bad things using family names and money, eventually the the person bad karma will come for him. In away, Trump inflicted pain/bad karma on himself.
