I would like a video on making those nurses bags. How many did you make? When do you give it to them, before or after delivering? You said to save some for the post partum care staff, how many bags do you need then? Ideas on what to give them and what types of things did you put in them? I've never heard of this being done and I am really curious. Thank you.

I was like “oh no she’s not going in right away, she’s going to have a car baby”. All my babies were super quick from beginning to end, my 3rd came so fast I was all natural as well and hands down was the easiest recovery. If you can get through the pain I recommend unmedicated. Just be prepared for the ring of fire as I like to describe it 😳 Congratulations! So happy everyone is healthy & happy!

When you said you were going to go get some sleep after your water broke. I grinned and thought “no, you’re not” 😂. They want that baby out soon once it breaks - I was in the 6% too. You know it breaks - it’s a LOT of fluid. So happy for you and so happy you made it to the hospital!!!!

@@NikkiAMurrayAvon wow. Now my “baby” is 23 so things may be different but I thought they’d want you to deliver sooner. I thought once the water breaks they need things to move, risk of infection, etc. my contractions weren’t starting so they had to put me on Pitocin. (Not sure if right spelling).
@NikkiAMurrayAvon
@NikkiAMurrayAvon 11 ай бұрын
@@JulieNick28 my waters broke at 34 weeks so at that stage they give you antibiotics and steroid injections as they want to prolong the delivery but also prepare them if they do come earlier. I was in hospital for a few days being monitored to make sure he wasn’t in distress. Typically the day I was discharged from hospital after no signs of labour, my contractions started, and boy did they start! I had a very quick labour so my boy wanted out 😂. He’s 3.5yrs now :)

@@NikkiAMurrayAvon interesting! Thanks for sharing. Glad everything turned out great!! I learned once labor started that my boy had flipped breech. They think that’s what broke my water. So fun to hear everyone’s experiences as they are all so different.

@KristenxLeanne 11 ай бұрын
Thank you!! Calling triage - the purpose was not to get instructions, the purpose was to let them know we’d be coming in in the next eight hours so that knew when to expect us, or within at least the next few hours. which they ask you to do! 😂I probably wouldn’t have called them now that I’m thinking about it. But Nick wanted to prepare them. He works with nurses and hospitals daily and felt good about letting them know

Unmediated birth all the way! I had my first baby induce, epidural and never hold her on my chest. And my boy was very similar story to you and I choose birth without intervention and I had a hypnobirth. My recovery was so much easier with my second and he was completely different baby compare to my daughter and I believe because he came when he was ready rather then being evicted from my body like my daughter. 2 days after he was born I was cleaning my house and went out for dinner. Even my vagina felt so much better because I didn’t have to push like crazy!

Im so happy I stumbled across your channel! I absolutely loved listening and watching this. I would LOVE to hear a comparison of unmedicated vs. medicated birth story!! I had my first baby 3 months ago and i say “unmedicated” but i did have the nitrous oxide gas so I guess I could say i gave birth without epidural but i am still so proud of myself. It really is crazy that your body just pushes and you cant control it!!
@tikybutler7862

Same! But by the time I got the gas I was already fully dilated and ready to deliver so the gas did nothing for me. However, I wasn’t fully effaced so they told me not to push and I was like “how TF you dare tell me not to push?! My body is doing what is supposed to be doing, i have no control over that!” By far the craziest thing they told me. How do you tell your body to stop doing what its meant to do? Lol

I had an epidural, and I was not in control of my body, my body did the pushing with every contraction. I didn't have pain, but I felt all the feels to push him out. Especially when the doctor told me to stop pushing and wait, I was thinking "this man thinks I am in control of this at all!" It was nearly impossible to hold it back. So the feeling of not having to push with an epidural isn't true for everyone. Also, when you were laboring in the bathroom I thought, She is gunna have herself a car baby if she doesn't hurry! lol I am so glad you made it!!

I could feel the same pain down there when the did the same stitch. The feeling of the thread or whatever they use is the most odd feeling.

It nice to hear you had an easy labour and birth after Harlow. You listened to your body and waited. I’ve had 7 unmediated births and my last I was rushed for a emergancy c section. I’ve been stitched with my second abs know your pain ouch. I’ve had 3 home births and my 6th my mum delivered because I was so stubborn.

My girlfriend will be having a c section tomorrow & I’m so fucking excited to meet baby girl. Your videos helped me with packing a bag & making sure she has anything she might possibly need after everything! Hubby has baby covered & I’ve got our mama! I’m dying of excitement! Thank you for sharing this! It helps so fucking much even tho I’m not even the one having a baby!🥲🥰

The lidocaine shots around the spine during a cesarean are the WORST part, of that part. I told the triage ladies I had an intolerance to morphine and then they gave me morphine-based medications; so they basically borderline OD'ed me. I had chest pains, struggling to breath, etc.
