…can kick the shit out of 10 people! Lol! Those were the days bro. This was an ode to a sweet darling of a voice P Susheela. She is not Tamil. Her mother tongue is Telugu, but as admitted by her many times it was Tamil cinema that made her famous. Her personality? Well just as sweet as her voice. She & TMS gave a long string of memorable duets, from 50s to late 70s. TMS had once said tongue in cheek, they are like brothers & sisters in life but when they have to belt out love ballad he’s full of romantic emotions only, making P.S blush onstage! Scene is also a tribute to Saroja Devi. Also not Tamil but Kannada (like Aishwarya Rai). Tamil cinema also made her famous. Within just one movie she found herself courted (on-screen of course) by the 3 bigwigs of Tamil cinema - Sivaji, MGR & Gemini Ganesan. The 60s belonged to her! She retired at the height of fame after getting married. Another great song Assad!
