UNO Synth Tutorial 2: The Sequencer

Yes, this is a great starter synth. Other options would be the teenage engineering pocket operators or the Korg volca series. Tons of great tutorials on KZbin for all of these products.

I just bought one of these because I am having back problems & want to downsize to a tiny rig. For a tiny synth, it sounds pretty beefy.

Is it possible to transpose the sequence with the inbuild or extern keyboard?

When Unosynth is turned on, the preset key is always lit. When the preset button turns off, it is only when I press scale, glide, oct, alt, time, mix. Is it normal that the preset lights up as soon as I turn on the device?

Perhaps because the preset button is always on, I've never had success with step recording in the order described in the video. Alt recording is possible, but that only happens under the specific conditions of the preset. Another strange thing about the preset is that the number changes and the note changes even though I haven't manipulated it. It was 34, then it went from 67 to 67 to 89, and so on. Is my device broken?

Looks great, guys! Is there any way at all to have the Uno control other hardware synths, similar to how Beatstep Pro works? Say, on different MIDI channels... multiple patterns, etc? Thanks!

Great sequencer, truly powerful, but is there a way to make a 32 step sequence or more, or will you guys plan to implement it in a future update ? It's really cool and all but I am really limited by the 16 steps ...

I have a keystep and several Volca and an active MIDI splitter box. Uno is going to replace my Keys. I want to start all the internal sequencers kn with my keystep. Works great with the Volca but didn't start the Uno sequencer. MIDI channel is proven correct by playing the Uno through the setup and my keystep. Ideas for something I'm missing in the manual?

el unico problema de este hermoso synth es que no permita un modo canción, cambiar de Patern mientras va sonando sin estar obligado a que esten encadenados uno tras el otro, digo, esto podría resolverse con una actualización de firmware, que permitiera guardar paterns favoritos en las 16 teclas disponibles.. o por lo menos poder transportar de tono la secuencia para poder usarlo libremente en vivo..

I was having this issue. When trying to record, I would push play and the preset would play.......Push Alt + The down arrow (Data) while the preset is playing to clear it. Then you can record the sequence without the preset playing.
