Kenpachi gave Lil Yachiru that name he said to her because it reminds him of the person he admires the most, which is Yachiru Unohana. Unohana is trying to teach Kenpachi that his way of fighting isn't beneficial, not to him nor to Soul Society. She also takes the responsibility for him even thinking that way in the first place, you'll see why, next episode bout to go crazy !

In bleach there are 4 mandatory things learned in the academy that Yamamoto had built. -Kido. The ability to generate Hado(Attacking spells), Bakudo(Sealing spells) and kaido(Healing spells(what Tenjiro created)) -Hoho, Basically flashstep. -Hakuda, Hand to hand combat And Zanjutsu, Sword combat Yamamoto had tried to teach Kenpachi Zanjutsu sometime years ago but due to how abnormal his strength was he had his training stopped after one day. Correction, Kirinji didn't create The concept of kaido, he created the healing hot springs that expand on kaido even more.

I feel like a lot of reactors didn't catch this but the reason why Renji ate Tenjiro's punch was simply because he didn't get the full force of it cuz Tenjiro's hand was already fractured by Ichigo. Had he didn't Renji would've been sitting in that bath for another day.

Her character is one of the most if not, the most well written in Bleach! The chills she gave, even knowing she is impressive, being able to master thousands of blade arts. Being the best healer, and cause her shikai does heal, she has to relay on pure strenght, speed///

It's more of a setup for a payoff rather than foreshadowing. If you're confused about the difference, foreshadowing hints at what it's, well, foreshadowing while setup doesn't hint its payoff, in this case you can't guess anything about Unohana being the first Kenpachi from Kenpachin naming Yachiru. If you want some actual great foreshadowing for Unohana being the first Kenpachi: -Even Captains as strong as Kyoraku and Ukitake have been showed to be afraid of her (it's often played off as comic relief but still) -her fake (or true, we have no clue) name, Retsu, means "violent" or "fierce" -In the first databooks, her total combat ability score was 540/600, second only to Aizen and Yamamoto, both having a score of 560/600, and her special ability was listed as kenjutsu, not healing.

But we did see Yachiru in this episode, when she picked up Kenpachi's patch on the pillow and found out him and Unohana are fighting to the death. We got both Yachirus ("Eight Thousand Styles") in this episode. I don't know from the manga, but I'm guessing (likely as you are) that Zaraki did take the inspiration from Unohana, and gave the name to Yachiru. Seems like Unohana is the one fighter Zaraki truly admires, as she is birds of a feather with him and his reason for growing/getting stronger.

To explain the whole NAME deal.... If you go back to when Ichigo first beat kenpachi, there was a flashback of kenpachi and yachiru backstory, they were both souls in the most ghetto part of soul society and blood and violence was a daily occurrence. they both dont have names so they took the name of the district of soul society they arrive in when they first died as humans and came there: Kenpachi's last name is ZARAKI Yachiru's last name is KUSAJISHI Kenpachi then beat and KILLED the squad captain of Squad 11 back then, and became the captain of Squad 11, he also took the title of KENPACHI as the successor of KENPACHI TITLE (Kenpachi is a title and kenpachi took it as his first name too cause he had no first name). My theory is.... Unohana's Last Name is Yachiru, and kenpachi admires her.... so he must have named his Lieutenant who also had no name as YACHIRU.... hence their names became ZARAKI KENPACHI and KUSAJISHI YACHIRU (Last name first, then first name in Japan)

So my theory is this.. If you remember the fight between Ichigo & Kenpachi, the very first fight. Ichigo felt like Kenpachi sliced him in half, but that wasn't it. It was simply Kenpachi's intent to will/bloodlust to fight. I'm wagering it's the same thing. Unohana's intent to kill/bloodlust succeeds Kenpachi's so that's why it felt like she stabbed him through the neck. But that never happened, he simply just felt fear again/her bloodlust was that overwhelming

It just means swordsmanship, it's not anything special. Kyoraku just wants to teach Kenpachi how to actually use a sword instead of relying on brute force.

@@Timmycoo What? What source are you using? Zanjutsu isn't a swordsmanship, it IS swordsmanship. It literally translates to "sword technique". It's one of the 4 basic Soul Reaper fighting techniques: zanjutsu, hakuda, kido, and hoho. It's not a specific sword style.

In regards to people complaining that you didn't react to the Soul King reveal...yes, you're supposed to care. The Soul King has been THE BIGGEST mystery of the entire story of Bleach and was basically foreshadowed at the start of it. To not care about his reveal is just downright silly. Yes, we only got to see his eyes, but as fans of Bleach we want people to react to big moments, and his reveal was a huge moment.
