I had hoped to see Going South, Two Mules for Sister Sara, Bite the Bullet and Lonely Are the Brave here. Not sure why Little Big Man is on this list. It received broad acclaim on release and earned back twice what it cost to produce. Still, one of my favorite Westerns. Other candidates: 1. A Big Hand for the Little Lady 2. Dead Man 3. The Villain

Purgatory was my favorite on this list. Probably the biggest overlook was From Dusk Til Dawn. Salma Hayak dancing on the table is my pick for the hottest scene in motion picture history.

Hotness is in the eyes of the beholder :) I can think of several scenes (PG-13 or PG) that top it for me: 1. Some Like It Hot (MM curing TC on the yacht). 2. Hell to Eternity (competing cultures dancing) 3. Damn Yankees (whatever Lola wants....) 4. The Lady Eve (hair-twirling scene with Fonda).

I don't really count Coogan's Bluff as a western. I have often wondered if Glen Ford's series Cades County was derived from this movie...
