I think when you're talking about finally understanding that haters just want to be heard because they feel small thing, it's intellectual knowledge vs emotional knowledge. It's like you can understand on paper that a thing is a certain way, but applying it to yourself and your life doesn't come until you work through the knowledge emotionally which is always an individual and person journey. It's a bit like breakups... At the start you know intellectually that the other person may not have been right for you because of xyz, but it takes that emotional processing and experiencing to be able to recognise it for yourself x

Hi Kaylee! Loved this video! 🥰 I totally agree about that you need to come to the conclusions yourself despite people already told you about it. You need to experience it and put it together yourself. 👍 Regarding the shipping, I am not sure if it would help you, but when we ship outside the EU (I'm in Hungary), I always scan all the related documents and send them to the customs by e-mail on the same day when we ship the order. This way the clearance is faster and you have a copy of all documents in case you may need then again. 😉😊

i think another reason for leaves getting stuck while unfurling is probably bc of light. in nature light moves around the plant and in our setups light only really comes from above. so the plant doesn't reach for light throughout the day and i think that contributes to the problem

The holes in your aquarium plants might come from a lack of potassium! Especially if you have a lot of potassium loving plants like java fern in your aquarium absorbing all of it from the water column. I had a similar problem with mine where the leaves of my plants were full of holes but still green and no plecoes! I had added a fertilizer that was a little higher in potassium and it fixed up the problem right away! so give it a try and test your water to see your potassium levels

The work life balance thing has been an interesting thing in the hair community too. Unfortunately as a entrepreneur you have to hustle for a while until you get to the point where shits stable or you can hire help. I work 6.5 days a week. The half day is therapy, a nail appointment, or watching KZbin and caring for my plant bbs

Germany seems to not be a great country for shipping. I live in Switzerland at the moment and have ordered multiple times from a shop (they sent me proof of the phyto they attached) but once arrived in Switzerland the phyto was gone and I had to pay a new phyto issued by the Swiss customs plus the overnight storage fees, making each order twice to three times as expensive. This doesn't seem to happen when I order from other countries...

I have reduced my social media use down to 5 minutes (if that) on each app per day and I’ve never felt more content with my life even though social media is the only change I’ve made. I do use social media for work but I will schedule posts and I asked my husband to check it once a day too and that has taken some away too. I’ve found that social media makes me feel inadequate, always wanting things that I don’t have, not feeling pretty enough and my house/life not seeming as perfect or aesthetically pleasing as everyone else’s seems to be. If you are struggling with the same thing please consider reducing how much you use social media, I just don’t think we are designed to see other people’s lives in that way, it is the curated, beautiful, art gallery version of life and our brains don’t know the difference.

It's not just plants getting hold in customs here in Germany. I ordered wool from England a few times in the last couple of month and they took at least a month to arrive and one time a package just got sent back after being in customs (maybe because the documentation got ripped off? 🧐). I mean: What do they do with the packages in customs? It's fucking wool?! Soft and fluffy WOOL! Germany is a really horrible place to order from UK.

My uneducated opinion: The first thing that comes to my mind with that whole shipping to germany thing is taxes. I really love killstar fashion but since brexit they have weird custom policies I've personally never encountered before. (maybe because I never order outside EU haha) So, maybe, because the houseplant hobby is exploding, they get alot more of plant packages and customs is not sure about the worth of some plants. Germany is very particular with controlling especially taxes... just a thought since I know even less than you about it.

Don’t forget that at the end of your life, it doesn’t really matter what you accomplished in the eyes of others. You are the only person who knows who you are, your daily fights, your strength and growth. If healing and overcoming your anxiety (to whatever point it may be possible) is everything you get „done“ then that is enough. When we compare ourselves to others, we can only compare a small fraction of them to everything we are. But in reality, nobody is or will ever be perfect. When you climb a tree, you wouldn’t try and jump to the top just because another person - on a different tree- is higher up already. You would still make one step after the other. Some trees have big, sturdy branches. Some have a long trunk and you need time to figure out how to even start climbing if nobody teaches you. Some branches are rotten and brittle and you have to be careful. Sometimes a storm breaks off branches. Sometimes branches aren’t grown enough to use them for climbing. But as long as you climb, you do everything you can. What I want to say is: be gentle with yourself, be proud and see what you already survived and most importantly what you already accomplished. How little it may seem. Not every technic works for everyone but I found comfort in knowing what I‘ve already survived, that I am strong enough because I already proved that I am.

Oooof I feel that no work life balance thing so hard. Worked full time in grad school getting a masters in social work, didn't even have time to breathe for 3 years. Was like "oh this is fine, I don't mind at all!" And then boom, body couldn't keep up, permanently disabled and chronically ill 😂 But my dad's owned his own business for 20 years, works about 60-70 hours a week every week and he's been healthy so far so 🤷‍♀️ you do you!

Thank you for answering my leaf unfurling question!! Will have a look at the air flow - I’m getting proper salty about random leaves just snapping off at the stem before they unfurl/get released from the... petiole? I can’t English currently 😅 I’ll sort out the air flow and see if that helps!! Thank youuuuu
