Hello Silver Hammer Surveillance, Here are an important tips concerning outdoor sensors for weather stations. I own both brands of Newentor and Accurite great weather stations. All my outdoor sensors are wrapped in double zipped sandwich bags, and extra secured with rubber bands. I simply insert a small tie wrap under the elastic bands, so that I can hang them in a safe dry and sun free location. This method has benefited my sensors to remain in mint condition and trouble free, even in the outside environment. I strongly discourage exposing any weather sensor without these simple procedures. I have to recommend the newer version Q7. It has multi angle views instead of straight on. It also has an additional sensor that hooks to unit for more accuracy. On sale for $40.

Hey, nice to the point review. I am wondering, do you know if there's any weather station that allows you to edit the screen widgets. Let's say you want bigger clock, smaller temperature values, different font colours, etc? I am trying to find one that would look good in the living room.

I have indeed. Like I say in my videos, there is a reason I always go back to Alibi. Alibi has better equipment, only a 1% fail rate (best in the industry), better warranties & better customer service.

My outside sensor is set for F* but my monitor shows Celsius. I cannot find how to change the monitor to F. Any ideas how to change this? Thx

The remote sensor is best placed in a Stevenson or Glaisher screen, for that will ensure accuracy due to the louvered design and the fact that it is pure white which doesn’t absorb the Sun’s heat.
