The whole Cam McCarthy tragedy did put an asterisk on that game for mine. Also the scoring accuracy inbalance made the scoreboard margin greater than it probably should've been. Freo missed some sitters. But if we dispose of the Blues on Friday night (as we should at home) then I expect SEN to have no choice but to fawn over our Swans next Monday. 😊

Freo dealt with tragedy this week and were clearly affected and aren't even inform atm having gone L L L W W coming into the game with one of those losses being to West Coast and one of the wins being to Richmond. Give it a spell. You're top but this was a nothing week, you did as expected and nothing new was learnt about the Swans.

Love kingy but Im not sure he realises that richmond actually has a stacked draft hand coming into next year, which could look better if we bottom out ha ha (fingers crossed). Not to mention were finding out a lot about our current young players this year, some will stay and some will go - but Brown, Sonsie, McAulife, MJR look like rippers and are getting plenty of looks this year with our injury toll. Plenty of mid aged players that can be stars still, and be part of another great team again. Bolton, Balta, D.rioli, baker (if he stays), short, taranto, hopper, vlastuin (few years left) is a great base to build a list around. Even Mansell and Rossstill have progress left in them. As Kingy mentioned, Ive been more than happy with the effort and I really dont think were that far off it. The patches we have played well we have looked stellar and things can turn quickly (as we have seen with how sharp a cliff we have fallen off - it goes both ways). Go tiges

Yep i have been looking at your guys draft hand and wouldn't be surprised if you did a deal with any of the north clubs (excluding sydney) as they need draft points for high academy bids. Could easily end up with something like 2 14 22 and 30. Yes they probably end up blowing out to 3 21 30 and 36. You would also have the 67 & 69 picks to take stabs at raw talents as they would draw into picks 50 range or so (maybe look at some KP players at those picks)

Essendon have a better list than St Kilda. Maybe even significantly better, especially through the midfield, and their forward line is clicking a lot more than St Kilda's has been for the past 12 months. They won't finish top 4, more so in that 5th-10th range, but I think their form is a lot more sustainable moving forward than St Kilda's was last year

What a history of 1 season, that's a long history damn. You can go back and look, excluding last year Essendon normally start trash and finish hot, either just missing finals by a few slots or just making it but being eliminated round 1 of them. Now given how last year happened it wouldn't surprise me, can't trust my team until they actually win a final, however the list is certainly better and their game plan and execution has also improved significantly, so they're definitely a hot chance to break their winless drought in finals this year more than ever.
