Sadly 2019 is the year I stopped collecting Mezco, moved onto Hot Toys but glad to see Mezco is still making great figures .

Love my Mezco John Stewart! I have the Mezco Toy Fair Blade. I dig how many accessories he came with, but I like the traditional silver weapons compared to the red weapons in the special version. I dig the Mezco Cable, but in my opinion he pales in comparison to the Amazing Yamaguchi Cable. That one still sets the bar for me!

That John Stewart buck should've been used on black panther. Diablolik is top 10 for me, I wasn't blown away when I got it, it's a simple figure but having it makes it grow on you very quickly since everything is done so well and it's a timeless, multifunctional design that allows for the character to be used in a lot of different scenarios. Highly underrated and happy about it because it allowed me to buy 2 brand new for 60 a piece(recently), was lucky about Netflix punisher and daredevil for that price as well during the last couple of weeks on Amazon. Debating whether or not it's worth it to buy another black panther at that price, same with Wonder Woman and Logan, but i already have the ronin version which is the only wolverine figure they made that I love.anyway, as far as comic accuracy goes, knowing mezco, they'll eventually re-release a lot of characters in completely accurate versions of their most iconic comic looks. As the line gets pricier and pricier it would be a great way to bring more people into the brand that missed out and are on the fence plus it would excite existing customers to reintroduce great figures at the original price point or slightly lower and do them in steady waves instead of the current pace. The development is already done, there's more than enough bucks already done to choose from, they know what materials actually work best for those simplified designs and going as accurate as possible makes doing the headsculpts extremely easy. They can even cut back on the packaging using one box for each wave.

I would have had Gomez much higher. But, man what a year by Mafex. So, my top 10: 1.) Gomez 2.) Blade 3.) moon knight 4.) Pink Skulls 5.) cyclops 6.) Gordon 7.) mdx popeye 8.) cable 9.) Sov Batman 10.) Wonder Woman I didn’t get everything so I can’t speak to figures like Aquaman, which looks cool.

I only picked up 4 Mezco figures this year but if I had to rank them it would go: 4. Netflix Punisher- articulation could be better but still looks awesome, plus I love that version of the character. 3. Friday the 13th part 3 Jason Voorhees- Super articulated Jason figure with a tonne of weapons, what more could you ask for. 2. and 1. Couldn't decide between Sovereign Knight Batman or Clown Prince of Crime Joker, both look great and Batman's probably the better figure but I've had more fun posing the Joker, so I'd say they're even to me.

@@UnparalleledUniverse Initially I didn't like the look of it because it reminded me of the Leto Joker which I'm not a fan of, but once I got it in hand I really liked it as an early career Joker and the wacky colours of the outfit and the chalk white skin made it a tonne of fun to look at and pose around, I'd say it's a really good Joker figure even with Mezco's earlier releases of the character already being really good, even though I don't own them personally.

unfortunately, i have not been able to get my hands on any mezco figures at all before, ever. i was never a big fan of figures with the sort of felt-type/clothy material for clothing, but after seeing a few figures, i'm starting to warm up to them, especially thanks to you! i really wanna get "the clown prince of crime" joker or as its also been referred to as the "punk joker." i saw a review on it a while back and it looked really cool. hope i get my hands on him one day!

Mezco Blade looks cool as hell; unfortunately I missed out on him when he was first released, and it seems like he's becoming pretty hard to obtain in the wake of the new movie announcement, so I'm keeping an eye out, but we'll see what happens. Great list, though! I agree with Netflix Season 1 Daredevil as the most-disappointing of the year, wish Mezco would just wise up and stop giving us those damn single elbows already! The only difference on my own personal list is I'd probably include the Sovereign Knight and the PSCC as more than just honorable mentions, but 2019 was such a great year for Mezco that I totally understand why they couldn't make the list. Great vid, as always, even though I'm super late to the party, lol.

the single joint elbow body should be used more often on their live-action figures. it makes the proportion looks so much better without the wide shoulder and long neck. you can see the comparison between the two DD you have, the black one's proportion looks way better.
