Pro moving tips: -go to liquor stores and ask if they have any boxes you can take. They’re not as big as moving boxes, but they’re perfect for books, kitchen stuff, baby stuff, or whatever else will fit! Plus they’re FREE!! -LABEL EVERYTHING😅 We used notecards and a Sharpie on the liquor boxes since they have stuff printed on them -We used big plastic tote/tubs as moving boxes. It is kinda pricy, but so convenient and reusable. I labeled them with sharpie and then wiped it off with lemon essential oil after we unpacked them -You can pay extra for movers to pack up your stuff for you if you get to the point where you’re too overwhelmed or tired to pack. I would still pack up any valuables, sentimentals, and some fragile things just to be safe. -pack a bag with a few outfits, toiletries, chargers, etc so it doesn’t get lost in all the boxes and it’s easy to grab until you can unpack everything

Matt, love you but I wanted to share some advice. I think you should focus on things like getting vocal coach to help produce your songs! Your voice is great but you need some confidence and guidance. I worry your music will fall flat once your fans are saturated and start wanting higher quality music. You have everything going for you BUT I worry that with a limited voice the long term isn’t being considered. Your songs are doing good so far but you need to keep making mini hits. Music videos do not have a great ROI in general, busy especially not for a smaller artist. I’d suggest focusing on your socials (which you already are which is great) and really refining your sound and writing. Your lyrics need some polishing as well. So spend he time between releases practicing and collaborating on/ tweaking lyrics. I think you have a lot of potential but it’s easy to be distracted by doing the fun stuff. Focus on your development, and everything else will just happen and make sense! I highly recommend NOT putting chunks of your own money in to music videos at this time. Low budget, sure. But if you’re trying to go high production value, retelling a story already perfectly portrayed by the movie, hoping it will “launch” your career, you’re going to be disappointed. You can only go viral for the same thing so many times. There is always an expiration on that stuff, so make sure your talent and art is undeniable.

While it is interesting that all of the sudden they might move somewhere, it seems wrong to judge their whole marriage by this. While they seem to disagree a lot, one thing to keep in mind is that they really put themselves out here on the internet. They get vulnerable and share a lot of things in the moment that most people wouldn’t share or show about their own life or especially their marriage. So while they may seem to disagree as a married couple more than the average couple would, also good to keep in mind they show much more than the average couple would.

Fellow fourth grade teacher in NC here! I've found some great Lost Colony resources that might help. My students especially love Roanoke: The Lost Colony - An Unsolved Mystery from History by Jane Yolen. It's out of print, but I bet you can find it through a library or used book sale. There's an interesting History Comic on it, and a good background book by Jean Fritz. There's lots of video options out there. I like the one from the History Channel best. There's also a good video from PBS SciTech about recent archaeological findings.

Abby my theory is the they almost all died but the ones that were left integrated into a Native American tribe. I have not evidence of this but it makes the most sense to me. 😅

Just think about it this way, when you sell your home, would you accept 10% below asking?
@maryjaneferguson94326 ай бұрын
It sometimes is a lot awhole lot more than 10%. 10% in real estate is really nothing.
@Sunflowers366 ай бұрын
They will find out that they will need to bid above asking price quite a bit in order to have their offer accepted. Sellers market.

Matt's a man baby. Pregnant wife combined the birthday and father's day and you're being ungrateful, downing your wife who was pregnant, and complaining. But it's alright if it's your anniversary and your birthday together? Why didn't you throw a fit over that? Your wife deserves better.
@fantasea1146 ай бұрын
It's so childish to have a little tantrum about not getting what you want on your birthday. I can't believe i just watched a grown as man with two kids complain about not getting enough attention on his birthday

You guys briefly talked about sparatically going on a safari in Africa. I was fortunate enough to go on one in Tanzania through an amazing company in the summer of 2023. A couple things: 1) Animals are often as scared of us as we are of them. They won’t approach your vehicle unless provoked. 2) if an animal does try to come up to your vehicle, your safari guide should be aware enough to drive away fast enough to keep anything from happening. 3) At least where I went, in the Serengeti in Tanzania, rhinos are very rare and endangered. Most people when they go don’t get to see one at all. We were able to see one from afar, and it was amazing. Depending on where you go, rhinos shouldn’t be a problem. 4) Your tour guides should be able to drive away fast enough and keep anything from happening. They are trained and should be able to see what the animals body language is saying, and they’ll know when it’s safe to stay or whether to drive away. Dont let those horror stories on the news keep you from doing something like this! Most of the time, it’s people being crazy, (like people that get out to go pet a wild lion) and the animals are gentle and don’t care much for people. If you ever have the chance, I would definitely go. Hope this helps!

Interesting they allowed you to submit a letter and photo with your offer for the house. Here in St. Louis, our realtor this past month actually said they have passed laws you can no longer do that because it opens up the possibility for discrimination…. Idk if this was an addition to the fair housing act or something.

16:08 Exactly! We don’t hate men, we don’t think it’s all men but you just can’t blame us for only wanting to keep the good ones 🤷🏽♀️ Also, unpopular opinion, but I like the way Matt just says what he actually thinks. I’m not sure on when this became a bad thing but I actually appreciate the honesty and not trying to hide things or make everything look perfect when is not and it’s okay.

The letter I wrote to the seller did make a difference! We offered under asking after 3 days on the market and we got it. They left us a letter in the house saying it was because of our letter.

I can totally envision your vision of your song video Matt. I just picture you like Benjamin button older man sitting in your porch reading the paper and reminiscing your younger self grabbing Abby from her waist while she is either cooking or doing dishes and starting to dance together then your boys joining in the dance around your kitchen. Then you pick each of them up and throw them up in the sky as the camera lens go back from outside the window and into your old eyes... Lol can't wait to see if our visions align hehe

Matt has a good voice. Not phenomenal or really even that special but its better than most ppl...who cant sing. He just cant compete with other ppl who can. To be a successful artist you have more than just a good voice. It has to be great, you have to go viral for something, or you get good enough to get listeners who aren't already fans from yt

Hey Matt and Abby, I hope you read this comment :) I've followed y'all's KZbin for a while now. I think it was within the first year you were married. Followed you to Hawaii and back and through 2 sweet boys born. I've so enjoyed the authenticity of your channel and love the "what's up dude!" At times I travel for work like 2 hours 1 way and I'll save listening to an unplanned podcast like a treat for when I'm driving. I absolutely loved this one with how real you were with each other and so kind, encouraging and uplifting to the other one. I do totally wish y'all would move to Nashville but of course with a house that in laws can come too ❤️ I'd love to run into y'all one day and say hi in person.

32:00 you know what's funny tho? as a 1st grader, i had a SUPER OLD teacher and she didnt have a lot of crazy energy but she taught well and i loved listening to her storytelling even if it wasn't like...super energetic. i think if kids get into the story, it doesnt matter that much how the story is told, theyll be all ears :)

Why do people hate Matt? Omg I love those two, just enjoy the content, they are so cute ☺️ and are working really hard while some of the people who write hate comments are just sitting in the sofa, I have never comment before I’m not that kind of person but wow, people have to stop.

Abby, I agree with you about trusting women more than men. I do believe that you are talking about opinions or advice. Women (who are close to you) will be honest with you and men may just tell you what you want to hear.
