Simeone would have done more with Atletico if not for transfer mismanagement by the club. Buying Diogo Costa almost for the double the price he left for, as well as over spending on attack minded players like João Felix and Lemar when the team is defensive minded then selling defensive players Rodri, Lucas Hernandez and replacing them with Hermoso, Savic and Felipe without also not replacing the great Godin. Just to give some examples of the poor dealings.

Mourinho at Chelsea spent as much money as pep at man city if we count football inflation and revenue index. Pep has to pay way more for players today than what Mourinho or Wenger payed for players in the late 90s, early 2000s. Mourinho in 2004-2005 spent nearly 700 million pounds if we look at football index and what those same players would cost in todays market. Football inflation is different from real inflation since football inflation has been injected with Saudi and Qatar oil money. If Mbappe was born in the 1980s. His price would be the same as Thierry Henry (€16 million). Maybe more since he developed a little earlier in his career, but the point still stands.

Kross is better than xavi and iniesta because they only shine in tiki taka system they just adapt that system so perfectly because of Spain and barca but kroos played in bayern in Germany with different system then move to Madrid he adapted very quickly. Kross attributes are so good his passing accuracy is definitely toe to toe xavi he can attack like Ineista he also played in deeper role with casemiro in double pivot system. And if u watch his game he control the tempo every game like literally he slowed game very effectively.and his off the ball awearness is crazy good. I definitely think kroos is grater than xavi ineista

Unpopular take. Barca need an overhaul. They need people who are determined to resurrect their careers, such as Wayne Rooney as a manager, Loris Karius who has been a good backup gk, Harry Maguire whose problem is Man Utd, he's been good at Leicester, then the physical and goal rich Romelu Lukaku in place of Lewa as striker. Lukaku is younger and can be a threatening presence. Lingard's been hard at work and intends to join Barca, so why not sign a passionate fella like him in midfield? Tbh tho, Bartomeu's time was laden with trophies, while Laporta's is basically like Tottenham apart from the La Liga last year. Unpopular opinion ofc, but something I felt Barca really needs. Many a gamble have been played, but I feel this risk will pay off...
