Honestly NewJeans comebacks have been weak after Hype Boy or Ditto imo. Attention was a strong debut and while I am just indifferent to Hype Boy and Ditto, they are just fine. The songs after that were mid and that soft whispery singing style along with soft and chill music is starting to get old. Honestly, most of their songs are glorified background songs. Kpop girl groups (especially those who do cute concepts) have been releasing songs that have that newjeans vibe but they are just bsides. RV, TWICE, OMG have songs that won't be out of place in NewJeans discography. No one would just think of it like that because the girl groups I mentioned have vocalists/vocal lines that are far better than anyone in NJ thus they are able to add more flair or diversify their singing styles in each songs.

I was honestly annoyed at their behind the scenes recording when the producers (Or IDK who was helping them record then) told them to sing softer. They were basically straight up whispering for the studio version and it didn't have any stylistic flair or twang.

0:32 I actually think that it's reasonably priced for an album of this caliber. There are other versions that are cheaper but don't have the CD player that are around 30-40 dollars. This is aespa's first full album ever so an upsale in the regular album is normal because of the excitement of aespa ults. A good portable CD player will be 30-40 dollars as well, and with the customization it most likely costs more to create so thats another 20-30 dollars or more tacked on and obviously they'd want to make some profit so selling it at a decent profit margin would be selling it for 100+ dollars. At the end of the day, it's your money, and what you do with your money is your choice. Companies are allowed to price their stuff at whatever they want. If you don't like the price, don't buy it.

Do you want to know a weird detail? I do not know why but there is this spot in the city I used to live that smelled... Awful is mild, nasty do not reach the intensity of the horrid smell, I always tought it smells as putrefactig flesh it is just dissconcerting and glue to your nostril and mind for life till the point the company I was working cancelled a multimillion development that had already started in the area just because the smell. Why would you could care? The Coca Cola bottling plant was there and the smell seemed to come from it. Just to give you to think.

I think NewJeans is only having this comeback to make sure they're not left behind in the Illit hype. MHJ basically admitted as much. Illit was being confused with them and gaining ground fast. This is to defend their position; I don't think they were prepared to comeback yet and it was rushed. I liked How Sweet a lot more than Bubblegum though Bubblegum is still a nice listen. I don't really agree with you in the sense that 1) JK was never really interested in being artistic or whatever, the man is a pop guy, that's why his music follows the steps of artists such as Usher, Justin Timberlake, Michael Jackson etc 2) Jimin is more about the performance and his solo was far from being bad. We got Like Crazy, Set Me Free which might be not your taste but performance wise you can't say he did bad 3) V shows amazing artistry with his solo. Maybe not to your taste but the man gave us pretty cohesive and artistic works, whether it's the music, the visual or the concept 4) Jin didn't really give us much yet since he planned to seriously debut as a soloist after his enlistment. And Astronaut was a pretty solid track, again maybe not your taste but definitely not bad

$100+ for that cd player and the value it can accur long term is actually VERY AFFORDABLE pricing. With all of that it comes with and the effort put into them, if they can last long term that’s a very great deal honestly. $60-$70 is too cheap is practically asking for cheaper quality I.e defected product. Then you’d be here calling it a scam if it were the case. I feel like this first opinion is a non issue unless you don’t have a job of your own.

I really like RM latest album. The pre release and the ttt were so unexpected for me. I was thinking he would do something like wildflower. But he really surprised me on the good way. For the vocal line solos. I really liked Set me free and Astronaut. V one's was not really my style and Jungkook album was okay. I think it depends on people's style. J-hope solo was my fav. And Suga was great too. Overall i enjoyed all of the solos especially the rap line except V because it was not my style.

I am with you. I have to listen all V releases because they just do not catch me, I feel he is trying to come with a more chill embiroment but ends being more a snooze festival. Actually I was surprissed I liked more J-Hope and knew more songs of Suga than from maknae line except Jk. RM work is more... Just not my style neither... I have doubts about recent years "virals". Esp if they come from Hybes girl groups or babymonster. Magnetic is not a masterpiece to overtake Beyoncé in virality. Neither was Ditto nor Antifragile. EP&BW - that was a viral. Viviz Maniac was a viral. I am 100% sure hybe has some kind of a deal with Spotify but they push their gg songs. And no one believes baymons numbers. At this point ads for them must have costed more than the MVs themselves. 2:50 I only support MHJ because I know for a fact that hybe is extremely corrupt compared to other companies. No one seemed to care about that fact until MHJ came around and said it. I don't fully support her as both sides have handled this very messily and the fact that fans aren't even looking into any of the accusations said in the courtroom and just freely believing whatever they want and not looking for the true facts on the matter and so I'd rather side with someone who wants to expose the corruption rather than let it continue rapidly 🤷‍♀ I still dislike both though. So many people don't remain neutral anymore man. It fucking sucks.

8:54 I'm just not a fan of his music for some reason. It just never hits for me. Tbh almost all the BTS solo's have me feeling nothing. I kind of like Jimin's but at the same time it's a lot if I'm just not in the mood. I have too much ADHD to enjoy tracks that RM, V, etc produce, Jungkook feels like he gets all the recycled 2015-2016 boy group throw away songs. The only artist I see myself truly listening to is Agust D and that's mainly because I was a rap fan before I got into kpop and Suga has innovated a new genre in a way that takes traditional Korean culture and mixes it with rap which I really vibe with.

It's just a CD player, not an album. I would buy it because it's the coolest looking CD player I've ever seen and it's aespa, they're worth it.

1. I don't think it's overpriced. I think the price makes sense, especially when you throw in the photo cards and how much those can go for. Paying $300 for it though is crazy. That's on the fan though. 2. I agree How Sweet is "flat". I enjoy the song, but I found it to be not interesting enough to be a title track. Bubblegum was the better song out of the two they released. I got my expectations up when I heard Bubblegum as a pre-release and expected the main song How Sweet to be stronger, but it just sounds like a B-side to me. It's good, but nothing special. Nothing they haven't done before. I think they need to spice things up because it seems some people are getting bored of NewJeans' songs. They like what they have heard so far, but want something that's still NewJeans, yet fresh and new. How Sweet sounds like something they've already done. It reminds me of Momoland and how they basically kept releasing different variations of the same song of theirs that blew up and they lost all the hype around them. A similar situation can be seen with Oh My Girl, and how WM keeps having them do repeats of Non-stop. Dun Dun Dance worked, but the third time, the fourth time? There was very little growth because people were like "Okay, we've already heard that before." Obviously, NewJeans reached a much higher level than both of those groups so they'll have a much harder time losing popularity, but it can definitely stunt their growth. 3. I mean, yeah. Personally, I think the whole thing is stupid. What sucks the most is how they're not just leaving it a thing between Bang Sihyuk (HYBE) and Min Heejin, but they're taking it against the groups too. ILLIT gets so much hate with the name NewJeans thrown in to criticize them, and it's all so pathetic. 4. 100% "Things that have gone viral" and it's just gone viral in their own fandom. 6. I feel so bad for her for joining Woollim. I feel so bad for anyone that joins a company already having some sort of fame, and then seeing it die because of a sucky company. We see how successful Starship was with IVE (Wonyoung and Yujin), HighUp with STAYC (Sieun), Cube with (G)I-DLE (Soyeon), etc. Those girls grew in popularity. So we know it can happen even if not from SM/YG/JYP/HYBE, yet we usually see the opposite happen because of negligence. 7. Haven't heard it yet. I'm not a big fan of rap usually, especially when explicit (call me a prude, idc), but I'll give it a listen eventually if not explicit. 8. I agree. And this isn't unique to Kpop, American celebrities would do the same for their soldiers during WW2, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. I'm pretty sure they still do this actually. And I get that they think that the men may sexualize the girls, but I'm pretty sure most of them just want to listen to fun and uplifting music because they're going through so much physically and mentally during their training. Could there be a creep or two? Sure. There could also be a creep or two (male or female) in concerts, or literally anywhere in the world. I'm just kind of sick of Kpop fans (usually international fans) and their misandry, blatant or subtle, it's tiring.

NO WAYY... XG is experimental, but AESPA is fixed on the KWANGYA concept. KWANGYA is fluid, a universe on its own giving them all areas of interest and variety of concept with their storyline. NOT THE SAME.

There are a lot of XG clones within the K-pop industry (i won't names any names). Even if k-pop stan won't admit it, ever since XG debuted, a lot of popular K-pop girl groups are releasing similar music videos, rap, vocal, dances, and songs. These K-pop ggs are even singing in ALL English.. also, calling themselves "global girl groups"..

@seveteensBIGGESTfan just out curiosity, which group apart from XG has had every single release in English (not counting sub units since they tend to use 3 languages)? I think LeeYang is referring to the fact that all XG's main releases (10 of them) are in English. Pretty sure XG is the ONLY group to do this. Happy to be proven wrong however.
