Greetings Abba Ayalew Amlak. I'm a regular follower of Unpopular Opinion and it's always been a pleasure joining into discussions each day whenever there's a session. I believe like many others on this platform, this channel has became home through which I find myself getting to know more about myself as an African. In particular it serves as the perfect ground through which I try to build my own foundation from scratch since I seek getting into alignment with self and into much self realisation. Thus this platform also being my way through which I develop myself as it is the tracker of finding ways as to where I come from and my GPS as to where I'm heading to. Thanks so much again to people like yourself who unselfishly pass on your litness to shine like a light making us lit too and brighten up to be proud African stars❤ 🤩

I like this guy. He almost agrees with no one but himself. Dope...people suffer from a sickness, spirituality community, as much as they want to reconnect, the sickness in them is worse. These concepts, theories & movements are just the sickness mutating to keep itself alive.

Regardless what has happened to this world, I think the more we speak about isintu the way you just did answering the sister who's about to get married okwesbili I trust most of us will be woke. And also the part where you talked about looking into the family how we do USIKO of that family specifically 💯 👌🏾(JIMMY'S questions) because as people we are not the same, but "isintu" it what bring us together as we do good to one another... I fully appreciate this channel with the depth of my soul, please keep teaching or I should say liten us...

Greetings Abba, I would just like to thank you for sharing & teaching your knowledge of our people. Its extremely pivotal to my journey of rediscovering my identity as a young Zulu woman, who has been greatly influenced by the West for most of my life. I was ecstatic to hear that we come from the same clan, now I truly wish to meet you one day. Ngyabonga bhuti🙏🏽

Hi Ras I give thanks for your channel. I would like to share some info about va Tsonga, Ras all VaShangaan are Tsonga but not all Tsonga are VaShangaan. Mina I am Tsonga, but before I am Tsonga I am a MuXingwedzi (Those from the Xingwedzi river) born of a daughter of the Nkuna People, Vahlave. Some may take offence to be called Shangaan as it would be like being called by a name that is not yours, in our names is our history. Here are some of the names VaTsonga carry VaBila, VaDzonga, VaHlanganu, VaHlave, VaHlengwe, VaKhosa, VaLambya, VaLozyi, VaN’wanati, VaNdzawu, VaNkomati, VaNkuna, VaRhonga, VaShangane, VaTembe, VaTswa, VaXika and VaXingwedzi. These names are derived from our ancestors or the name of the place or surname of their tribe, but they are all connected by the Xitsonga language and Xitsonga culture.

Greetings Abba Ayalew Amlak, I appreciate the knowledge that you possess and selflessly share with us🙏 I was born using my father's surname and I know maboko, direto le meetlo ya Bapoane Babina Noko🦔 and I identify as such. But later when I was 9 years my maternal grandmother "stole" us from him because my mother passed on and gave us our mother's surname. Now Both my parents passed on and most of the elders as well. I'm very much in touch with my father's family but in still using my mother's surname in my ID Document even though I identify as Mmina Noko Could the surname on an ID Document cause any problems?

May i suggest Abba just refrains from speaking about Kemet because he is meesing up whenever he touches on Kemet. He just goes on with a lot of incorrect info that by now in the public domain. Better still he can teach himself metu neter(ancient egyptian language) and then decipher those ancient texts. He will then realise that place was called Kemet by it ppl, that place had borders, he will understand better why some of them called themselves gods as they documented. Then u take kemet out of africa and u place it in America. Kemet existed long time ago before the slave trade happened and u make as if Kemet was not founded by black people. In Akan which is one of the languages quute close to the Egytian ntr is ntoro and ntoro is not a dream is mean simply the same thing as it meant in Ancient egypt Kemet is the standard because they took it to the highest heights. They determined the new year based on astronomy and astrology. They were highly scientific. They were the one who took the concept of God in man to highest highs and developed systems where in people can cultivate the god-self. We must learn to give respect where respect is due.

The kemet you think you know is not the real kemet. The one you are referring to is the magic kemet that you have read in books written by non bantus nabo having taken that incorrect information from greek/Arabic influences not forgetting the Roman catholic church. Khohlwani kemet ngoba niyadidiseka. This is not to say that kemet didn't exist. But the Egypt you are referring to is not kemet. Kuningi. Just look to your own history and Ancestors.

Greetings Abba Ayalew Amlak, you are very critical with the movement of kemetology. Do I understand you right, that people are treating the subject in an non-african way and misinterpreting the historical facts. Or are you saying, that kemet isn‘t an african civilisation and people are misunderstanding it as such?
@morearthanhuman
@morearthanhuman Жыл бұрын
He corrects “Kemet” like how we in the diaspora corrects “Egypt”. Knowledge is the differences of everything as always. We know what the Greeks did to Kemet and named it Egypt. But he’s speaking on more info and pointing out how even Kemet can possibly be a backup to Egypt if you catch my drift..
@ptmchannel9315
@ptmchannel9315 Жыл бұрын
Ok, I understand now. I nevertheless think, that its important for africans in the diaspora to reclaim the cultural heritage of kemet, maybe as a response to the racist narrative of the savage african, but also to correct the historical fraud, caused by the eurasian appropriation.
@morearthanhuman
@morearthanhuman Жыл бұрын
@@ptmchannel9315 100% agreed with that. Everything is up for examination, the Europeans had plenty of time to cover up a lot. And time will be the very thing to undo it all.

The council of women started the concept of Isithembu in order to balance certain imbalances in the household/community that were experienced by them(women) themselves..

Ngiqala ukuyizwa ngawe lendaba yokuthi it's a requirement for a black man to take more than one wife. Indaba engaka. Yabona lendaba yesthembu is not as cut and dry as men would like to make it out to be just because it's a concept that favors them. Isthembu came about as a result of an abnormality within society that had to be addressed therefore isthembu is an abnormality and not the norm. It's intention was to right a wrong that occurred within a particular family and that is why the woman was the one who was basically leading the process because it was something that women came up with to save their families and not because kumanandi ukushera indoda. I dont know what makes men think that it's easy for women to share but they feel like they are dying the minute you make them Share as a woman. What is bad for the goose will also be bad for the gander. Women are not robots without feelings who are okay with multiple women sleeping with their better half. Thats rubbish. Just like no sane man would be okay with 5 men sleeping with his wife. This just needs common sense.

Question.... What about a married woman, lobola and everything done properly and is now welcomed in another clan. This woman has children and decided to cheat and have another child outside marriage. The couple don't divorce and decided to raise the child as their own. The biological father of the child lays no claims. What surname is the child going to take because the mom's surname is now the married surname? Do any rituals/apologies need to be made hore ba mo behe in the married woman's surname?
