It’s refreshing to see a gay person play a straight person. We see so many straight people playing gay people. But I knew he was a gay guy playing a straight guy. Not right away though… Maybe I wasn’t paying attention before, but once the “sexy boyfriend” was giving gay mannerisms/ facial expressions/ speech in addition to wearing a form fitting top in one scene in the 7th episode, I had to look for a video on KZbin of the cast to confirm my suspicions. My assumption was true! It’s not a big deal, he still did a good job. But my gaydar was going off too much and I couldn’t rest until I found out if I was wrong or not.
