Saw these support Tesseract in Manchester, they stole the show in my opinion. Just picked up tickets for their headline tour later this year too 💪🏻

Spitting facts. I saw them on the same tour, but in Warsaw. It was like: OK THAT WAS INCREDIBLE I AM PUMP UP FOR MAIN BAND ...(a few moments later) ok Unprocessed should be supported by Tesseract haha

So glad you checked this out. Such a sonic experience and what a journey. Glass is also my favorite tune. Gotta love that build. HAVE to recommend Loathe's album "I Let It In and It Took Everything." It has a similar balance of pure heaviness and moments of serenity, and it's also quite a journey. One of my top albums.

One of the most unique sounding bands I came across in 2023 with this album. Hell is one of the most insane opening songs I've ever heard followed by an even more crazy fast paced song like Lore then into Thrash the song that really got my attention for this band. First 3 songs I'm fully on board. Amazing stuff! \m/

I'm really glad you finally did this album, it's such a journey. I'm not really a fan of all that progressive guitar destroying stuff polyphia making, so unprocessed with their grooves, breakdowns and catchy choruses is what needed. Overall this album is a grower, i get it why anyone may find it a bit confusing at their first listen but that happens all the time with new music when you're hearing it for the first time, not really a big problem. Also about that production choice and fuzziness in this record feels kinda natural and i (personally) don't mind it at all, it adds some extra layer to the overall picture and atmosphere, Purgatory is my favorite just because of that ending, it feels so intense, kinda depressing and beautiful at the same time, thank you

I love this album because it's so different and I've been an unprocessed fan for quite awhile now. But they have ALWAYS made weird choices when it comes to guitar tone and mix haha. It's something I just came to accept because it does make them stand out and I don't necessarily dislike it, it's just jarring 😂

The mix on this album is not my favourite, but I think I get it and I still absolutely love this album. I enjoy the songs so much more live. Would love to have had these songs with a similar mix to their last album

I really dig that fuzz effect on the guitar tone, something very characteristic about it. Also, super happy you checked this whole album out 🤘 They were fantastic live the other day, the crowd warmed up to them as they went through their set which was great to see.

@@SteveOGRock Tesseract we're really good! Super polished, sound was perfect. I can't find the right word, but it was kinda ethereal? The Prog aspect of their songs really translated well

Came here from your live show review. Wasn't paying much attention the first half (was cleaning my shoes). But for the 2nd half, here are my thoughts: Die on the cross of the martyr is a grower indeed (my first listen was a few mins ago from your separate reaction vid of it). 😂 Glass is an immediate banger. Abysm hahaha yes very Vessy vocals. I wish i wasn't also very nice. The droning guitars on this one, reminds me of something i like, can't remember who at this moment. Lol. Could it be gojira? Purgatory -- like the harsh portions coz less of the polyphia-sounding guitars. Lol. Love how they slowed it down in the end too before the string slapping part, sounds nostalgic to me. Generally like their vocals, arrangement, and bounciness. The parts that also distract me, are the muddy lows (sounds like recorded from a cellphone or smthng). And the polyphia-sounding guitars, haha i dunno how else to describe them, not a fan. Despite the Cons, yep would still rate it Delicious. Btw, love your album reactions (not sure if i have commented this before). I don't find many other reactors doing full album reactions as often as you, and i really enjoy listening to full albums. So thank you! 🫰

The album is way too noisy. They can write cool melodies and rhythms, but for some reason they always go overboard with distortion and screams.

I wish the band would ditch the songs of entirely harsh vocals, feels the complete opposite of the style and complexity they are going for. The songs that have mainly clean vocals are by far the best songs.
