this is not djent it is some kind of groove metal. the music is good but too basic to be djent

This is some serious composition and backing lines instrumentation. Great song, the evolutionary kind of development of this tune, maybe sometime the parts are too pointilistic too simplistic and for me usually only the shift aproach of simple riff isnt enough but despite my (on northlane, tesseracT, fractalize) developed taste, here it is working well. Still i would add more math to it :D Very inspiring band with three guitars, synchronized on the stage

Lyrics: I see a vision of netherworld A vision full of green and blue Where the wild roses grow On a mountain high Beneath a purple coloured sky I see a vision of a never withering earth Circled by miracles from far away No dust in the wind The air full of life That is taken by the blind It's no secret Those leaves will liquify Scattered to the four winds Until the night passes by It's no mystery That the shadows gape open Like a cut between the nights of a day without daylight That will blur in itself It is a prophecy That we will drown in the mirrors of a world beyond abyss That will drag you and soar deep and away I saw my Neverland With dripping drops in the crowns

These guys are great. I honestly really like this. I would love to see this band with a dedicated vocalist. Like a Spencer Sotelo, Casey Sabol, or even like a Sam Carter. Manuel does a great job with vocals, but I feel like with the detailed and intricate things they play, he'd almost shine as a secondary vocalist [not back up, very much part of the songs, almost like jade puget or Adam D] so he could focus on shredding to the fullest for 70% of the songs and singing 30%. Either way I love this band and will follow/recommend them!

3:56 tracked and miming the solo
@jackburton31495 жыл бұрын
Definitely, and I don't know why he'd make it so obvious, when you can see him play it live (differently) on this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZrHhHynich2eaM I want to say it's precisely to stir controversy and discussion, but that was over 1 year before the Jared thing
@maxharris92785 жыл бұрын
@@jackburton3149 yea exactly, i used to watch his insta vids and you can tell its sped up because the pitch of his guitar is ridiculous, sounds like a whammy
@AngirasDarbha5 жыл бұрын
@@jackburton3149 So, deciding to play the solo a little differently is proof that he's faking? I don't get your argument.
@jackburton31495 жыл бұрын
@@AngirasDarbha I don't know, maybe he had improvised this one here and he didn't remember exactly what he played, and that's the closest he could get it for the camera, but this one here is definitely mimed -- his fingers are going back up before he reaches the lowest point of the phrase, for one thing. What I'm saying is, he didn't have to do this when he's shown in other videos (like the one I linked) that he can definitely play, so why not show the real take... I'm not super invested in this by the way, it's just that I've seen a bunch of people I'm subbed to all start discussing it, and I thought I'd check it for myself, and I'm glad I did, cause this Unprocessed band is really excellent. And regarding Manuel, I'm with Levi Clay (kzbin.info/www/bejne/q4vWdZubnduFlZI) on this: I think he can really play, but he has a tendency to shoot himself in the foot with weird choices in the videos he puts out, like that infamous one where his guitar is unplugged, so I'm there wondering if it's because he's ultra perfectionist and decided against the real take for some reason, or like I said, he's doing it on purpose for exposure reason, cause he knows people are gonna be sharing it and discussing it and whatnot (and if that's the case, well, that's definitely working for him)
