This is the 89th episode of my new tutorial series on Action RPG game using Gameplay Ability System. Here we will work on hit reactions of the character when there are no weapons equipped by the character. Earlier we implemented Hit reactions for heavy attacks and lite attacks for both sword and shield and great sword weapon combinations. And because of the required tags we added for those react gameplay abilities, none of them will be activated when there are no weapons. Here, we will fix that issue by adding 2 default gameplay abilities for no weapon hit reactions.

Hi, nice work man. I’ve almost finished watching the current releases, I would like to say about a couple of bugs that I encountered: 1. If you are standing in a block and an NPC hits you from the back or side, the character simply quickly turns to block, although this should not happen. 2. If you quickly click the attack button, a strong attack will slip through without pinching the button

Tutorials that last a few hours and cover a whole game have many, many more visitors.

@user-hot5, if you've been following Thilana for years like me you'd know that he's already done this kind of series where you have a full game (ALS, Unreal Open World under UE4). He's an expert who, when he chooses a subject, explores it to the end. And I don't know anyone who has such a large video production, he regularly makes one a day. He may have slacked off lately, but he also has a family life and we can understand that too. I have great respect for everything he brings to Unreal Engine and if you look at the number of subscribers he has you'll see that I'm not the only one. Making a longer video takes a lot of time, I know that for having done it myself. Instead, suggest topics that he can do in the series he makes, even if he doesn't necessarily always take them into account, it will be more productive and could give him some ideas to explore, although he finds quite a few of them himself!
