Not so simple as shown here! :/ If you're comparing the same project in DX11 without Nanite VS DX12 with Nanite the FPS crash-down x2 because of the extrat use of GPU Memory by Nanite process even if the project is empty... :S Starting a project already in DX12 and switching the asset in Nanite mode, will obviously give you better results than Meshes, but that don't' t mean Nanite is performing better if you have some limitation with your GPU Memory :/ ... To make it short, if you're planning to distribute your project for several kind of computers on the market, building everything with Nanite can be a mess, even for RTX Card is those have some Memory limitation :/ Nanite start to perform with huge number of asset only with RTX GPU full of Memory, in this case the benefit of Nanite tech is obvious...
