In this video we will create a mini map, which can both follow the player / vehicle or can project the entire map, in this example i have created a racing style game an use the mini map to display the race track on the scree with all the checkpoints. we then use blueprint to filter out thing we do not want to see. so we can limit the mini map to only the things we wish to see. this is combination of the Scene Capture 2D, Render Textures, Materials, and user interface elements. As well as Paper Sprites to display a player indicator.
