France's team management in this WC was an absolute disaster. When will they understand that if you want to win it, you gotta start slow and play the long game? What's the point of a record win against a farmers team if you lose your best player to injury? In the press conference Galthié put on his best smug face and said to the journalists "No one can't be replaced"... Really though, Fabien? Then why did injured Dupont stay the full length of the quarterfinal while Lucu was biting his fist on the bench watching his hopeless team's dream fade away?

Dupont’s face was injured, not his body. Besides, taking off Dupont in the QF would’ve probably been the worst substitution in the history of rugby. Lucu’s performances in the Six Nations have proved that.

@@JanSanono Oh no I'm not getting into silly youtube arguments with all-knowing people who have a clear vision of what would've been had things been otherwise, I couldn't be less interested mate. That is absolutely never my point. My point, again, is FG and his team were a complete shambles and had a totally wrong approach to the WC. They said crazy stuff about their "premium team", clearly dividing their boys into worthy and not worthy ones, then pointlessly sent their "premium" team to thrash Namibia for no good purpose, then said that "no one can't be replaced" when they lost Dupont only to not replace him at all, Then they found silly excuses like "you can't let players not play for three weeks"... yeah sure mate without that match against Namibia they probably would've all had forgot how to play rugby at all. Oh and also, it looks like they had a TV crew following them all the time and posting videos online where France's coaching team were spilling out details about their tactics for upcoming matches... which Rassie exploited to beat them. That's what I call a disastrous team management.

I think that when the yellow card was upgraded to red, French fans were cruel to celebrate. Why though? It's not like the game is tight. Rather feel for the poor Namibian Captain who in no ways was intending to hurt Dupont. He was just tackling. I think the red card was the right call but it's cruel to celebrate when a captain of a team who clearly won't win has been sent off.

Winning all your games in group stages like this doesn't matter if you will fail dismally when it matters the most🤧🤧🤧🤧 France has never won a world cup and that says a lot about them🤞💯 France and Ireland went into this world cup as favorites while nobody gave South Africa a chance even when they were defending champions🤞💯 The problem is the media which overhyped European teams and undermined South Africa and New Zealand. That's why France got shocked like that and they even wished it was just a terrible dream and not a reality 🤞💯 Nowadays to win the world cup, you must be prepared to play dirty and dominating position doesn't really mean you gonna win, just like in soccer🤞💯
