Everything he has was given to him by the uk taxpayer, who through the tv license fee are still forced to pay for his day job, which is to review luxury holiday resorts. I was in Honduras about 10 yrs ago, it was a stop over on a cruise ship. We were told we were not allowed to go wondering on our own we had to stay in our groups because of the violence.. I will tell you they had the most beautiful beaches I had ever seen and I have seen alot. I do remember they had a number of armed police officers watching over the beach also it was semi fenced in. To see this video now really has impacted me. I was thinking how i was enjoying their country, having the time of my life and just around the corner major devastation, I remember paying a teenager $60 for braiding my hair, when she only asked for $10. She did the most icredible job in such a short time and I had very long hair, She was so grateful and could not stop hugging me and literally had a tear in her eye. Watching this now, is definately making me think. My heart goes out to the children of honduras

I worked with a guy from Honduras who told me that he had to leave school at 10 yrs old because of violence. His family left and came to the States for jobs and education. I asked him if he was afraid, coming to a whole new country and he said his family was safer with coyotes in the desert so no, compared to what they were leaving, he had no fear of leaving. The saddest thing for me was listening to him talk about home and all that he missed, knowing he may never be able to go home again. I can't imagine how hard that must be.

Beth Roesch is like any other country in the world with the good and the bad,but the good is the majority and those Hondurans suffering like these kids in the documentary are just victims of bigger problem, the problem of the drug trafficking brought to Honduras by external powers plus the corruption in our pass governments,but there’s hope and this 2018 Honduras no longer has the highest murder rate outside a war-torn country and the city of San Pedro Sula is not even in the top 25 of the most dangerous cities in the world. Things are little by little improving there’s a lot still to be done and the goal is to reduce the violence to the levels of any first world Country. 🙂

So heartbreaking to see the watch this, given that I was born in Honduras and came to this country at the age of 7 I can strongly relate to the struggles and obstacles that they face and even so, it breaks my heart to pieces. I'm beyond thankful for the life I have in this country and for the opportunities I have and I would do anything to share those opportunities that I have with those in need. I wish those kids who are thinking of dropping out of school would read what you say. The kids' parents have a hard time coming up with $15 a month for school. School here is free but some kids drop out. Then when they have kids they realize hard to get any job without an education. So they go to school to get a GED. Kids are are spoiled.

My family is from San Pedro Sula area in Honduras. Watching this video really makes me appreciate being born in the US and being able to finish middle school, high school and go to college. My mom loved school and was a good student but she had to drop out to help her family and herself. She stresses me and my siblings about education being a PRIVILEGE and not a given right. SO TRUE!!! Even in America not everyone can manage to go to college and graduate for different reasons most being hardship and money. Haven't been to Honduras yet but I definitely plan on it and I hope to help some natives, especially children when I'm there!! I'm very lucky in comparison to them. The least I could do is give back a little and give some of them something to smile about.

Growing up in a poor family in India. Even though my father was a police, he spend all his money on alcohol. My school monthly fees was around $5 a month but we really struggle to pay it. My mom collect woods and sell them, thats how i can afford education.

This was an amazing video and so heartbreaking at the same time. Makes one feel extreme gratitude to what we have. Made me feel horrible thinking about Bryan’s situation and his uncertainty of paying for school. I spent $60 last night at the bar. Meanwhile there is this kid who really wants to better himself and help his family and may have had to drop out of school because his family couldn’t afford the $15 dollars for school. I would’ve loved to be able to not go to the bar and hand him the money for school. This video puts things in such a perspective and it hurts, saddens me what some good honorable people have to go through just to wake up the next day.

I remember my parents telling me that you couldn’t go outside later than maybe 8 pm because it was really dangerous 😞 and it truly is, my mother was attacked more than once when she was coming from school at night. . . Thank God that he kept my mother safe and I thank God for bringing my parents to better and safer place 😌

this is really brave how these reporter's are willing to go to these places were they can get murdered especially the reporters in wheelchairs, another thing i think is brave is these kids and these families throughout all the videos on this channels they are so brave like some of them are trying to survive Starvstion, Gang shootings, have a child with special needs but doesnt have that provided, etc its so sad how this world is. i wanna give a special prayer to those in need

Hi, I just watched this on KZbin through my TV and the only clue that it wasn't a brand new video was at the very end when they referred to it as a "classic" episode. Same issue with the Ukrainian homeless teenagers episode. I had to look it up on my phone to get the original date. I wish the original date could be accessed more easily on the tv version. I am really a fan of this show!! Thank you for your eye-opening reporting!!!

As a Honduran myself it really pains me to see the life this kids are having and how people barely talk about it. My country and their people are beautiful, sadly we have had bad governors over the past few decades which don't really care about youth and their education. Only a small percent of young people are able to go to college so there is a really big gap of opportunities in my country. Thank you for making this problem visible, great work!

I’m from Honduras 🇭🇳, from San Pedro Sula specifically choloma and los bordos is where the main poverty is, and it expands when kids don’t finish school public schools in Honduras are the worst some schools don’t even have desks it’s really sad , but then you have the middle class side of the country or the rich one you could say the ones that finish their studies and are privileged,private schools are like the public schools in USA, public Universities sometimes don’t even have classes sometimes which causes kids to not graduate and then poverty hits again in their life it’s a cicle and then poverty expands all over the country it’s a cycle I wish it could end one day

Darnell Fernandez not all Honduras is like this documentary portrays and did you know this 2018 San Pedro Sula which is the most violent city in Honduras is not even in the top 25 of the most violent cities in the world. Crazy to force someone to join a club they have no interest being a member of and that's a gang. These kids know the value of education. We got people here who drop out of school then years later when they're adults with children they go to get their GED (general equivalency diploma). Education here is free up to high school unlike these kids their parents have to pay which puts them at a disadvantage.

I was stationed in Honduras for six months while in the U.S. Army and its bad. Shopping trips off duty, you'd see dead bodies in the streets and just walk fast. Many really good people there and there was only so much we could do.
