This video was so helpful to me. I have 2 UNS tanks up and running but now I'm curious about CO2 for my third UNS tank build coming up. You made this easy to understand and I really appreciate the time you took to show the individual parts and the comparisons with other systems.

Just picked one of these bad boys up, unfortunately I didn't realize filling up paintball c02 canisters wasn't really a thing at welding shops 😆 ended up having to get a regular 5 lb bottle but I'm sure it's going to last almost forever

Hey Connor , I was wondering if you have ever considered using Sodastream ? I have been doing the Fluval 95 disposable and I finally hooked up my last one yesterday, and it does make it very easy to head to Target / Walmart for a new bottle and not having to do the gas supply refill route . I see many adapters online and CO2 Art has the best reviews but $30 is also from the many I have found is the most expensive.....but I am not sure if saving a few bucks is the smartest move with pressurized gas etc. I know I have to make a decision to get everything in place before the FINAL disposable is empty. Looking forward to getting your take on it, and I would say that we made the right choice getting the UNS MINI

I never have considered it. But your comment made me curious. It seems like many others have done or tried this. Some people reported it leaking so I'm curious how it holds up with the UNS Mini. Overall it looks to be a cheaper and more convenient option compared to disposables marketed for aquariums. Please follow up and let me know if you had any issues with leaking once you get to try it

Perhaps you can answer this for me... I just got the mini and in passing, my husband asked why it has a power adapter. I haven't hooked it up yet, so I really don't know! What about this system actually needs power?

The power is for the solenoid. That allows you to only have the regulator running when it is connected to power. Generally it is used with a plug timer to allow using the kit only during a certain period each day. Nothing else on the kit needs power that I'm aware of
