Very informative video although I have just a couple of suggestions for you…. Annunciation and pronunciation both important and need to be addressed, and also the longer the video went on the more I could hear you smacking, I would suggest taking breaks to hydrate. Background music might add some depth to the video as well.

You have to remember the lighting they have. This one looks like it will grow into the color you want as they age. . Be happy no viel - they don't live as long. Their life span is usually 4,5yrs. Did you get them at dime size, cause even the most experienced could be fooled. I ONLY BUY FROM ANGELMANIA BY FAR THE BEST. BRO I'VE HAD SOME BEAUTIFUL ANGELS. PROBABLY SHOW WORTHY. However you wanted viels I get it, did you call him..he's pretty easy to work with. Good luck.

Do Dwarf Gourami's require low flow top water movement, similar to betta's? And do they require supplemental oxygenation with the air stone or is surface oxygenation from the filter adequate?
@TheAquaticCoder8 күн бұрын
@@crabbyturtle1594 Dwarf Gourami's generally do better with a low flow since they are weaker swimmers. I think as long as part of the surface is calm they will do fine. It's not required to have an air stone for them in my opinion.

Great video. Its hard to find alot of info in these guys esp how they grow. Some stores list them as max 4 inches and others say maz 8 inches. Ive had one female in a 10 gallon tank for about three weeks (i know before everyone freaks out it was a temporary tank and she is the size a quarter) i have been setting up and moving around tanks. Tomorrow morning she is going into the 55 gal tank. I cant wait to see her grow like this. Might have to do a similar video just for me so i can really see the progression .

@@surdams9848 Thank you I appreciate that! Yeah many stores just copied the stats from Blood Parrots which is incorrect. Best of luck with your Polar Parrot!

How is the stand? Any problems with the weight of tank on that stand
@TheAquaticCoder8 күн бұрын
@@bobbyfelix1827 After having this tank for nearly a year I had put out an update video with a more negative review. The stand held the tank fine but you have to be very careful to not get it wet. My stand started to buckle after about 8 months or so. I got a different stand for the tank because I was worried about it not holding up

Why are my polar blue parrot fish eating there eggs
@TheAquaticCoder8 күн бұрын
@@ericappelgryn145 If the eggs don't hatch and go bad the parents will likely eat them. Are they eating them right after they lay them? If they are eating them after they've been there for a week or so it's likely that the eggs wouldn't have hatched

Which is the one that’s mainly orange but has a little mustache?
@TheAquaticCoder19 күн бұрын
@@jalitzaa.v Do you see it in this video or was it somewhere else? I know the color pattern of orange with a black mouth/fins is common in the Platy fish (similar to a molly). Look up Red Wag Platy and that might be the fish. Platies and Mollies are pretty similar so it's possible it was mislabeled where you saw it.

I have a 10 gal and a betta fish. Would this hurt the betta?
@TheAquaticCoderАй бұрын
@@ExtraLittleThings This specific filter I reviewed is a bit too large and powerful for a 10 gal in my opinion. I think the strong flow of it would stress a betta out in a 10 gal. I'd look for a smaller UV filter that is recommended for 10 gal tanks. I think this one is for 40-80 gallons.

Your videos are great. Setting up my 75 . Would like to have a polar blue parrot and a platinum parrot in with some other less aggressive cichlids (1 electric blue acara,1 threadfin acara, 1 rainbow cichlid) along with a big school of tiger & green tiger barbs and maybe black ruby barbs. Can a black rainbow shark or red tail shark coexist with this group? I know from videos you are very familiar with this type of grouping. I know your red tail didn't do well with mollies which is why i would substitute barbs. Would really appreciate your input. If not, maybe u can just throw out some alternatives?
