That clown roach cannot get bitten by that false parrot yet!... If you place a simple cylinder (PVC whatever) noticing your clown roach loves that left corner: place that cylinder there. It can hide ☺️ The constant ramming will sooner or later hurt both fish. That clown loach is running the glass. It isn't to say nocturnal yet needs a comfort spot. Sooner or later that clown loach cannot take the hits on the gills and stop breathing or,! The false parrot with its genetic deformed moth will not be able to suck in food because of the compression blows against the other fish. That clown fish is almost 3 years old or older at that age.

I just bought one yoyo loach to tackle a Malaysian trumpet snail infestation that held yellow shrimp. The guy at the pet store said he wouldn’t get larger than he is and assured that he’d be fine with an endlers I purchased at the same time once I moved the shrimp to to 55 gallon tank. He never mentioned them needing a community and he was actually the only loach in the very small tanks they have. Ironically there was a cherry shrimp that was hiding in his tank. The yoyo was very fiesty and hard to catch in the store despite his small plant filled quarters. Only a couple hours after getting him settled in the nee tank at home with the Malaysians, he is swimming erratically up and down non stop. If I go near the tank he jumps back so I am afraid to further traumatize him. Do you think he will settle down? The shop is closed now for the weekend and I can’t call for advise.

2 years later and this system still sucks. I bought a small tank for my girlfriend's daughter and thought this might be a good way to introduce her to co2 and how planted aquariums work, stupid choice. I don't know how people get these things to output the correct amount but I spent literally 2 hours trying to get a decent bubble per sec ratio going and had no luck. Either 1 bubble every 5 seconds or 10 bubbles per second. Luckily I switched out the cheap hosing they give you or I probably would've popped the bubble counter the first time I opened the valve. Don't waste your money on this, get a bio-reactor or something.

I have a friend who’s Rainbowfish got their eyes sucked out by Yoyo loaches. That’s why I think the Kubotai loach is just the superior yoyo loach - they’re much more peaceful.
