When I'm among all those singing birds I can relax and feel paradise. For me this is not noise at all. Some years ago I traveled the coastal line from Chennai to the southern most spot and up the west coast and across via Mysore back to Chennai with a small motorbike. Of course time was too short to dive deeper. So I am very grateful for this trip that you do in Karnataka. I miss India so much.

Good morning dear Joel - Coorg is a beautiful place and is well known for its coffee cultivation and also considered a good vacation place in Summer 👍 Wow the lemony welcome drink seems to be unique and good 👌 Now to inspect the table filled with Spices 👍 Such a serene place and lovely sound of the chirping birds . Yes I remember Mark’s reaction when he had a taste of the sour secret masala that goes into the final dish . Your reaction was similar 👍 Love the fact that this vlog has less of food and more about the history of the place and the associated rich culinary tradition 💯💯💯 Traditional Kodavi dishes are very unique and specific to the place . Time for some taste test and Joel simply loves it 😋👌 The table is filled with awesome dishes and I am drooling 🤤. Yes I remember the wine tasting and the one you had in this vlog “Birds eyes wine” . India is a place offering a Myriad of dishes / rich culinary heritage and yes one needs a massive quantum of books to include atleast 50 % of our dishes I🇮🇳 . Time to savour the dishes on your Banana leaf plate 👍So we have Jackfruit dish , Pandi Pork curry , Pepper chicken , Mutton curry , Rice with ghee and then the Drumstick ( Murungakaa ) curry . That’s a perfect way to have the divine “ Pandi pork curry with the rice balls “ . Cheers with Pandi pork curry with Mark and both of you have been transported into a different zone 👍😀 Now for some tangy and sour Mango pickle curry with Rice ( it’s one of my go to dishes ) . So happy and glad to watch you relishing each and every dish 💯💯💯 The place , the natural ambience, the chirping of the birds , hospitality of the hosts , good friends around , home made wine and last but not the least the awesome and flavoured dishes - 10/10 for sure 👌👌 Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog ( very different from your typical food vlogs ) and it was absolutely fantastic 👍👍 You deserve all the wonderful hospitality dear Joel bro 👍 Too good and it’s early in the morning and the first did on waking was to watch this amazing vlog .
