I always take note of what you write with and what you recommend. That's actually the first fountain pen that I would consider buying.

The juice up is a personal favorite and those multi pens came out of no where and im excited. I guess I know which multi pen I'll be picking up next. Hope Pilot releases a version with a mechanical pencil option

I have the brass (Black) version of the Penco Bullet ballpoint pen. Its cap snaps on, just like the plastic version, and caps and posts very securely. To be so small, it packs a lot of weight. It's noted online that it comes in at an incredible 68 grams! This pen is heavier than the Kaweco Sport Brass pen weighing 42 grams. When you separate the two halves of the Bullet, there is a metal ring that is not attached to either half. I was fortunate in that I was paying attention; if I weren't, the ring would have fallen off and I would not have noticed. Not sure why the ring wasn't permanently set in place. The advertisement for this pen states that the pen comes with a 0.7 mm D1 refill, but it writes more like a 0.5 mm. The ink is dark but not saturated. “Penco Perfection Made in Japan” is branded on the backside of the cap along with what appears to be a reference number. The barrel coating has a fine sandy-like feel to it and is very smooth which might make it difficult for some to hold a solid, decent grip. I’m able to hold a secure grip while writing. Also, I can attest to Unsharpen’s comment about the edges of the metal clip; they do feel sharp so beware. Personally, I'm enjoying this pen and happy that I have one in my pen collection. Thanks for the video!

will you be making video(s) for the Juice Up 3 and 4? Since they are so new I can't seem to find any video reviews on them in English and I'd love to learn more about them

Yes soon.

Hope I could have a pen of knurl grip and heft of rotring, reliability of pilot and writing smoothness of Uniball in extra fine tip in a single pen. 😋

Great video as always. Your content is so relaxing I noticed at the end you had a mini penco (rotring lookalike) but didn't talk about it, did you forget a part?

Going to do a full video on that one. Haven’t used it much so i didn’t want to put in on the “writing with” list

As a long time Chinese fountain pen user, a word of caution, most Chinese Fountain pen are mean to write a different language and tuned so. It might surprise many expecting a certain writing form and feel when presented with yet another. The Wing Sung 3XXX series is one of the licensed range targeted for student, economy stationary market and their quality thus shows . Not that they could not be a decent pen but still best to be having the info known before hand

Thanks! This so great info. Much appreciated

first My question is what is the sensitivity and response of the stylus of the Jetstream stylus? I personally think that ballpoint pens and styluses are a good match for working people, but I feel that a stylus like the Rotring 800+ is a bit unreliable.
@unsharpen2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good point but it’s hard to describe or quantify. The stylus seems fine? It’s not as reliable as an apple pen or finger, but it works. I’d have to test more to get a more exact answer

great video thank you! question: is your wing sung a F or EF?
@unsharpen2 жыл бұрын
Interesting question: this is a Fine but it writes better and smaller than my EFs so it’s very confusing.
