I think it really depends on the person. Some people might love the pen, but still manage to lose it. Others might not really appreciate a high quality pen. Pens are overall great for most people as a gift though. Great video, thanks!

You left off the Eco, Caran d'Ache, and Rotring, which are also offered via Amazon.com, from your list above. The Eco, Grand, 2000, and Aero all get my vote! Thanks for the video.

The Sarasa clip is really nice. It comes in a variety of colors and will take almost any gel refill.

The Pilot S20 pen and the pencil are excellent choices, and I have both in the red tone wood. The S10 drafting pencils are also very nice, and it would be cool to gift someone all five sizes. That Pilot Automac is also available in an all metal satin chrome finish that looks exquisite. I would also suggest any of the Retro 51 rollerballs, as they have so many quirky, and also more subdued variations. I have five now, and my latest is an exclusive from Goldspot Pens that is a gorgeous blue fade lacquer finish. I really enjoy the fit and finish and the smooth writing refills.

Do you plan to make the same video topic but for mechanical pencils? That Pilot Automac is an exceptional mechanical pencils. I got mine for 12 bucks new.

I would of bet that you would of had the Messograf pen. It's made in Germany. It's a pen and a caliper together. I bought one around 2 years ago and it didn't last 6 months . The caliper part broke but the pen still operates.

If i gift someone a pilot v5/7/10 for Christmas, i honestly believe he should rightfully stab me in the eye with that needle-tip. Loved everything else though, excellent video like always :)

Can you upload center of gravity for each pens that you review next time? It would be much helpful to me if you do that. Thanks for your great videos anyway. I do enjoying it!!

How is this best communicated? Who does this well already? Seems hard to measure

@@unsharpen I think you can just put a pen on your index finger, and balancing it out. That would be enough for me and other viewers.

New to your channel and too lazy to see if you've already done this but would consider doing a video on executive style pens? I have a Ohto Liberty rollerball and I absolutely love it.
@Ali-in8xi5 жыл бұрын
I own a Liberty as well. I don't write with it much but agree it's a pretty decent pen. Some others: Pilot Timeline, Pilot G2 Limited, Uni Jetstream Prime, Pentel Philograpy, Pentel Alloy, Zebra Sarasa Grand, Lamy 2000, Lamy Swift, Lamy Aion, Retro 51, Kaweco Dia2, Parker Jotter, Metropolitan (rollerball and fountain). Of course there are others, but these are ones that quickly come to mind. Sal has posted reviews on the majority of the ones mentioned.

Love the vids! Have you ever checked out the Machines Era pen? It's similar to the embassy pen you showed, but much lighter and also affordable. It's a pretty simple but very well designed pen. It's one of my favorites. You should check it out.

1:52 what kind of notepad is that?
@sandybakers6904 жыл бұрын
It's just a moleskine notebook without lines. Pretty common, you can either order one here or go to your local Barnes&Noble. www.jennibick.com/products/moleskine-soft-cover-notebook-black
@sandybakers6904 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I know it doesn't look like a notebook in the vid, but you can take the paper out of the notebook.
