Yea Fuka is Fu Hua, Fu Xuan has almost nothing in common with her. If Fu Xuan is expy of Honkai impact character it may be Ji Xuanyan as she has similar hair and accessories styles, was a small character and has similar name, but that's a stretch too.

I do believe Eileen is a scrapped March 7th concept, however she definitely could be March 7th's real form. Quick note about Hoyo is they tend to reuse basically everything, Aquarius (?) was a beta Xingqiu who used a bow and his animations were later reused for Tighnari. That's around 4-5 years of a gap before Tighnari actually dropped.

@@eggnerd still could be a scapped concept they still were debating on using or not. just because she was listed separately from march at some point in the data does not mean shes not a concept. there is a reason they removed her after all 😭 also march 7th gatcha art is LITERALLY the placeholder for gatcha art, she’s probably one of the first units made for the game in mind, proving even more that she was probably a beta unit test if anything. 😭

@eggnerd that's your conception. even though March 7th was announced 1 week after build 0.56, what exactly prevents those who work at hoyoverse to be working on the character months before? maybe it was just not public. my personal theory is that march and eileen were too similar, and they just scrapped her and made one consistent character, instead of two almost identical ones.

The leak image you showed suddenly reminded me of how much of a gold mine the Vietnamese fandom is for Hoyo games, especially the "lost" information that date back to before genshin's global reach. Because by the time, aside from Chinese (obviously), Vietnamese fandom was basically the biggest and most loyal international playerbase to Hoyo games. One thing I want to point out about Eileen's outfit in that beta footage is how different her clother are to March's. Eileen wears a dress with few details, while March has a shirt, skirt, and many accesories on top. But there is one accesory in Eileen's outfit that stands out: the *lamp* hanging from her back. There's only one other character in Starrail with such a peculiar accesory: *Firefly*. The shape of both lamps is identical, even though they both have different colors. So I propose the theory that Eileen's character was an early design that was scrapped, but parts of it were later used to create Firefly.

They wanted to create another honkaiverse game but someone forbade them to use the name honkai in the title of the game again (or something like that but I won't go into too many technical details). That's why Kate remained in the game archive. The Kaslana twins have been replaced with the Light and Aether twins It is also the first character you'll see if you're gonna play honkai impact 3rd

@@furinaaaa4 You can very much tell genshin was going to be a honkai verse game, and it kinda is depending on how you interpret it Genshin impact is basically just a universe found inside the sea of quanta in honkai impact, Oto says himself that the sea of Quanta contains many universes similar to the one Honkai impact takes place in + the god you see at the very beginning of Genshin happens to look a lot like a EXPY of the Herrscher of Void; White hair, uses cuboid objects as a power, orange eyes, white and orange design. Spoilers for very early on in Honkai impact 3rd: The god at the beginning of Genshin impact is so clearly Kiana as the Herrscher of Void, so much so its harder to argue that it isnt her, than it is her. The reason she isnt mentioned again at all is that its simply one of two reasons: 1. it was just a neat reference for Honkai impact players trying genshin when it first launched or 2. They kept her inclusion to a minimum because it wasnt going to be a direct honkai verse game, she wouldve had a bigger role had it been, but since it wasnt going to be, they kept that scene at the beginning in (far more likely imo)

@@furinaaaa4 GI became a separate game from the Honkai series because - at the time of its announcement - miHoYo was planning to become a public company, and needed an additional IP separate from their Honkai series in their portfolio of products. So Genshin Impact became a new property, revised from what was initially intended to be "Honkai Impact 4th" or "Honkai Impact 3rd II", so to speak. The plan to make miHoYo public was eventually scrapped, but Genshin Impact remained a separate IP from the Honkai series.

Kate doesn't exist in Honkai impact and nobody forbade them from using honkai and I never heard of Kevin being possible twin for Kate sounds like someone mixed genshin, HI3rd and GGZ lore in their head. Original idea for Genshin was to be open world spinoff of Honkai impact but after internal discussions and polling HI3rd players mihoyo decided to make it completely separate game with only vague connection to Honkai.

I am actually the reason that we got the footage for eileen in the first place! I found her files in game around early Janurary of this year, and I can answer some of your questions about her. Her face is blacked out likely due to her model being incompatible. her face does actually exist in her model file for 0.56, albeit it is unable to load correctly. Also, about fu hua and rita. Raiden mei also has files and a kit that are in the game, she even has one of her hi3rd models, albeit it cant render under normal means. Build 0.56 was a private NDA released around September 18-20th of 2021. The version I have is an overseas release, which normally is a little bit behind the CN builds, which also means OS has it unlikely to be a devkit. Eileen exists in 0.56 because she was mainly used as a test character in earlier versions. Version numbering started around 0.5.0 and eileen was created around when "0.20" would have been made. Atleast from my research in the game files. March 7th has existed since at LEAST May of 2021. so this rendered eileen to be scrapped early on due to too many similarities. she uses march 7th's photo in-battle because march 7th is one of the base characters, which is what eileen was built around. they never got to fix her art because of her early cancellation. 8:44 - She exists in the first closed beta test. which would have been 0.60. Unfortunately, 0.60 is completely lost. I have tried very hard to locate this build to no luck. I actually found 0.64 while looking for it, which was another NDA which featured early versions of Silver Wolf, Kafka, and Herta, albeit Eileen was already removed by then, which would have been March/April of 2022. Even though she exists in 0.60. because of her early scrapped character, she isnt playable. and you would have to modify the game to access her. I know of builds of star rail that have existed BEFORE 0.56. I actually know of 0.5.3, which would have LIKELY had a more stable eileen model, due to the build number jump between 0.5.3 and 0.56

Fuka isnt FuXuan, "Fuka" is the file name for Fu Hua in HI3 all of her battlesuits are named that, example: "Fuka_C7"

In the end of Penacony, there was credit scene which said: "Your in game name" as "Trailblazer" "Welt Yang" as "Welt" < so on > The most interesting 2 was: "???" as "March 7th" "???" as "Acheron" (in dream) Then later it was revealed: "Raiden Bosenmori Mei" as "Acheron" (after waking up) So maybe in the future, we could the see: "Eileen" as "March 7th" which would be interesting.

The part about the file names also reminded me of how people mistook Acheron leaks as 2 different people. Because in the game files, they found a model file named "Huangquan", which is how they call Acheron in Chinese. Model inspection clearly showed that she bore a striking resemblance to Mei and is definitely a Mei expy. Yet however, there's also 1 line in the scripts section that clearly wrote, and I may dub it in Latin: "Laidien. Wangchuanshou. Yayi". With Penacony we know by now it was Raiden B. Mei. But by the time people were simply thinking that it could be another case of Bronya and Silver Wolf, and there could be a Huangquan character released in Penacony (hence why there were people who thought that Penacony was gonna be Inazuma 2.0) and an actual Mei released later, either another expy or a second case of Welt crossing the universes

It feels to be the same case as it was with Kamisato Ayaka, where she was in a close beta, shown in promotional content but wasn't released for years, tho this time it seems she won't be getting added anytime soon, whereas Ayaka was added after one year. Also, her missing face and using March's art is probably just because she wasn't finished, her model wasn't done so it just rendered black, and she doesn't have an art so they use March's art as placeholder or substitute and I don't have proof, but I have heard March's art is literally like a default one, if they don't specify one then that art will be used, so the game will not crash. Either way, we know even less about Eileen than March 7th past. All we know that she is (contented to) March but seeing that she appeared in HI3rd animation is really interesting as only Welt is the same character from HI3, that could mean that March has some connections with Honkai Impact 3rd and looking at their eyes, maybe even to Kiana herself or Finality. But then also the skill icons she uses were from Liliya and Rosaliya which match the color theme too. Maybe March has 2 sides, one that we know and that knows nothing and the other one is Eileen that resides in another world and knows everything and waits for March to find her or something. We literally have no info, so anything will be wild speculation and seeing that her graphics weren't finalized, using them is also a big stretch. But one thing we can say for sure, she is not a scrapped concept or anything like that, she is present in animated short and Hoyo would never put dedicated effort for some character from trash bin, she is real and important in some way we don't know. And on a side note, Welt and Carole were launched with the express together, but in HSR we only met Welt. Where is Carole? Is she a nameless or... was she one?

Eileen's face shows up during her skill in the "setsugekka" test character, but her face model bugs out during everything else and doesn't display properly. This is an issue that was present in Genshin betas for some characters as well. I know from Genshin's betas that small visual glitches like these are pretty common and are always fixed in the final version. Beta servers are just snapshots of the development, not a full timeline.

If you watched Reburn 1, during that time it was released, it wont make sense right. But after you watch Graduation Trip, the story ended in Reburn 1, Kiana on a train... Now you just watched Reburn II, right now it wont make sense. majority of viewers think, its a concept trailer and non canon. But I assure you, this video the end of the story of March. That is why Welt and Carole set a new journey. This is not a first launch, this a new relaunch of astral express.. Mihoyo have this on going theme of cycle of life and death, origin and finality, beginning and end. And those are very obvious on every game they have, like Genshin UG vs Twins in the beginning and might the same case at the end, Kiana on the train in the beginning and end in the train. HI3 ended in canon D, HSR started in Canon D. Penacony's beginning cutscene, and goes back to that at the end. and Reburn II. this is also the reason why the Reburn II was never upload in HSR youtube channel. It will became a true spoiler. That is why its in HI3 channel, so that it will look like a concept trailer, or early design of how HSR will look like. But their intent was very oblivious for those who know the theme. Heres what i think happened - Carole was mission to find Welt in HSR universe using Cosmic Juggernaut. - Carole landed in HSR Earth (himeko's home planet) - Carole found Welt but cant go home because they are in the middle of March 7th - Carole & March become friends - March regain her memories and she Eileen - Eileen transcended into Aeon - Eileen cant travel with crew anymore - Carole and Welt went to Himeko's Home. - Himeko rest (or dead) - Welt installed divine key to Astral express - Carole and Welt relaunch the Astral express play * Reburn II

really great video, my favorite part was actually seeing that pela used to be quantum and i remember a lot of online discussion about her on launch being like she literally shoots lasers and isn't quantum so it's funny to see she actually was at one point. bronya being a wind harmony also felt out of place considering so much of her imagery is icy like her ultimate. i think march may be someone in hsr who could get a lot of alters down the line and her imaginary hunt one will be the first of a few. these iterations will probably be like stepstones on her journey of remembering her past self who may or may not be eileen/erene. also really liked her animations in combat

Also, another thing to note, that fact that Eileen uses March's icon means that March's design was already finished by build .56. There's also the fact that Eileen's ult have Gepard splash art as a placeholder so that could mean her character icon being March also could have been a placeholder. Also, another thing to note is, the Reburn 2 trailer, which features Eileen was released on the exact same day as the first HSR trailer. In fact, both of them were released right after the Honkai Impact Concert.

Use of March 7th's portrait in battle doesn't actually indicate much. The genshin beta builds have WIP characters with similar mixes of characters, probably used as placeholders.

I found Eileen - March concept as very similar to Goddess Senadina - Senadina from Part 2 of HI3. Even down to their change of demeanor and attitude, as Eileen & Goddess Senadina has more mature and calm demeanor compared to their playable version of characters. Both Playable March 7th and Senadina has more Childish and Youthful personality (kinda similar to Kiana or Carole). The other interesting similarities between them are that Both Eileen and Goddesses version of Sendina First appears in dream to the main characters (assuming in the reburn concept Trailer of HSR Carole was supposed to be the main character instead of Trailer Blazer). Either she's just unused concept or future reveals I'm very interested in her character.

This! I though exactly the same thing when I watched "Reburn 2". I think Carole and Eileen's involvement in HSR was scrapped and used in HI3 Part 2 instead. And Welt's journey was altered from "doing it his own way" to "he and Acrhives ended up in HSR world by a happy accident". I mean, initially, in "Alien Space" comics, it was stated by Welt that "humanimy will find its way to other worlds", and "Reburn 2" looks like this "way" for humanity (I mean a train that seems to be a copy of 2nd Divine Key which had the ability to travel between worlds). But Welt's HSR story crumbs made me think something happeden when he and Acrhives had being transferred through the portal at the end of "Alien Space" comics (maybe Archives did something since he agreed with Welt that it's a good decision to try and help the other world to beat the Sky People in the end?). Ugh... again, too many "maybe". Typical HoYo.

The fact that March is insinuated to have ties with the garden (like they literally the one who seem to seal her memories) and Memo keepers also seems to be able to manipulate dream to a certain degree, as demonstrated by BS. So if Eileen is truly a concept of what March 7th either used to look like or what she will become it's not so far fact that she has similar abilities to Senadina and Dream seeker since she's part of the garden of recollection. But it's probably not until the next 5 years we wouldn't know the true answer for this :v I hope I jinxed it and it won't take that long.

Fuka is likely not Fu Xuan but Fu Hua as it's her name in some of the localizations of the game (unless it's confirmed that the file was for Fu Xuan). It might've been early planning for her as she's implied to be a big Xianzhou character in the future (Marshal Hua)

Since there are people in the comments making connections with Eileen and march 7th, i'll give one of my favourite theories of march here: She's likely related to Fuli the Remembrance. Fuli's whole shtick [and Blessings in the Simulated Universe] revolve around ICE (literally was found in it, as well as being an Ice character) and MEMORIES (photography hobby, keeping up with PRESENT TRENDS, IRONY of lost memories, which could be due to the Garden of Recollection). After what Kafka said when she was interrogated in Xianzhou, I have the feeling March has something to do with the Aeon of Beuty, Idrila. Idrila is said to be suddenly vanished, maybe March herself is the reincarnation of this Aeon or maybe she is Idrila herself. My wild theory is that she sealed herself because beauty is temporary, and because of the Primum Mobile if she doesnt stay beautiful forever she may stop existing so she decided to seal herself forever Aside from the ice connections and memory issues, it's worth pointing out that March's photography hobby is similar to Fuli's goal of safekeeping the universe's memory. In one of the investigation dialogues in March's room (in her photography wall), it's mentioned that there are images impossible for March to have taken. This may just be a funny, meta joke, but there may be something hidden! March 7th for me is related to the Path of Remembrance like Sampo is related to the path of Elation. Those two are both invalid in the Rating pistol curio. And when you visit March's room later on, you will be creeped out by how March would have photographed some of the pictures there. There is even some photos of characters that we haven't met before. And the mirror at her room as well. You are confused why there are no reflections in her mirror. An interesting bit about the Myriad Celestia trailer: Fable of the stars is; as Black Swan was introducing the different paths, during The Beauty, there is a brief, and I mean a VERY brief flash of The Finality. It is so fast, and lasts no more than a second that without effort, you're bound to never catch that detail. The only reason why I got to know about this detail in the first place was because a March fan was making theories and discovered this detail. It doesn't show The Finality fully though, just "The Fin", with the rest being cut off from the frame. That said, what we can conclude from this is March definitely has a connection with the Remembrance. There is reason to believe that March also has a connection to The Beauty, thanks to the very suspicious mirror in her room. For further context, there is a faction of The Beauty called "Mirror Holders". There's more detail to this but this has been long. And by extension, due to the brief appearance of The Finality of Fable of the Stars right after The Beauty, perhaps there's even more than we think.

Thanks for posting. There are some scattered information on the Chinese internet. One article entails a screenshot of a spreadsheet dated october 2021. According to spreadsheet,Eileen (refered as 艾琳 in Chinese) was first made on… April 7th 2020. The same spreadsheet features the date the character was registered (july same year) and released in (may same year). The same spreadsheet mentioned other characters that appeared at the screenshot from the leak of vietnamese fanbase that you presented in your video. Now, i havent found any means to verify this. I think that it might be possible that the entry refers to a very early game version, possibly an alpha version when they were assembling the game. It is back then referred to 崩坏 4, honkai impact 4. It might also be a spreadsheet related to legal procedures. The spreadsheet features registry number and classifies the design as „art design” 美术. Other footages i found included: an article from 2023, featuring brief description of eileen kit and speculation of whether or not she a is future 5 star version of march. A bilibili video from 2023 features a crude model of Eileen run in a graphic program.

I dont think Eileen is an early concept of March 7th, mainly because her design in the cinematic was already complete, the level of detail and colour she has makes more difficult for me to believe that she was the early concept. The most plaussible thing is that she is March before losing her memories, I would still have doubts about how she could have known Coralie but oh well, March in paper is pretty similar to Kiana, Elysia and Senadina, and we have already see how Sena being in other planet was able to interact with Kiana thanks to the cocoon influence, maybe something similar could happen. Also, this is not the first time it happens, mihoyo, specially the writer for both HI and HSR love to show hints to something since the very beginning even if you have to wait like literally 3 years to learn about it (ejem, flamechasers, HoFi)

7:58 could be a file for an early version of tingyun, because if you look at some very old leaks, tingyun had pink hair, kinda resembling sakura, not 100% sure though. 8:00 don't think it's a flie for fu xuan, but somebody already said that. Also eileen had a face in the game, it's just that the lighting is bugged, so you can see it only at some angles. You can find it on ubatcha's channel. Imo we still don't see eileen in the game because there was a change of plans either after some time of this beta or just before this beta. It seems that the game has changed a lot in the time of the cbt1, like the design, the tone. I think that elieen will be in the game as a version of march. NO, but if it was the concept that was used after discarding eileen, it should be clarified that what you have said lacks a bit of context as there are many more characters and concept arts in this build of the game, the reason that she is still in the code has 2 reasons 1: it is a remnant of the previous mechanics to the ones that ended up being used. 2: eileen is part of an alternate history which was not used in the final game. now where does all this come from? I have a copy of the data of this alpha and there are even more models that do not have a skeleton, but they give a sense to what I say, originally we would use a character that in the code is called pallas (female or male), also there are traces of a model of dan heng, which is based on the sculpting that was used in HI3, also Carole is found in this build, she still has some animations of HI3. Curiosity, eileen's model does have a face (I have the model), the reason why it is not shown in that video can be due to multiple factors since it is being forced to load incomplete data. in conclusion, if today hoyoverse wants to bring her back it will be in another way or even related to the March story, but until then it is a discarded concept in the development of HSR.
