Good Race from both of you. Both had the same strategy not leading into the busstop at the last lap. The move was absolute genius and legit. Nothing to complain about. Downside it won't work again. Next time you'll both parking before the busstop waiting for the other to move 😂

Great race to watch with both of you working out how to win. It’s no different than the guy behind feinting to go one way and then switching to the other. Brilliant racing and I would use that technique but Im always at the back so never get the chance 😂

nah, that was pretty good move imo and just disrupting the leapfrog game. unsportsmanlike would have been if you break checked him or tapped him to spin out or didnt give room in corners, etc.

My tuppence worth, I think it was a great move, a little fortunate on your side as quite easily could have backfired on you if he sailed past, taken the line and actually built up the same gap you did. Great race, fantastic move for the win.

In real life this would put drivers into unnecessary danger but given that this is effectively the same as how iRacing expect us to serve slowdown penalties, it's probably fair game in the sim. The only thing that might get you is if the iRacing stewards consider it to be "erratic driving", which is mentioned but not defined in the Sporting Code. The dictionary definition is "moving or behaving in a way that is not regular, certain, or expected" but even then it's still a fine line and I would like to think that it would be necessary to do it excessively to get any kind of slap on the wrists. Maybe there's a way to do it more subtly, like pretend to fluff your exit out of the hairpin, or go a little on the grass to pretend you got a slowdown penalty... but if the car behind chooses to stay behind there isn't much to be done (and they are also taking a risk that they can pull off the overtake). In any case, for this one time, I rule: genius.
