Agreed. I really don't understand why more people don't realize this. These big wig music producers put together a sound that is supposed to be the "big new sound," and every single new artist that comes out follows this same very simple formula. There are absolutely no complicated musical concepts involved. Metal bands do fall into a genre and may sound similar to some other bands, but at least their is no "mass breeding," and they find ways to make themselves unique. Long live creativity!

+Edward Castillo on February 5th, 2016, Anna Stefanowicz posted on Unsun's Facebook page announcing the breakup of Unsun due to how her vocal cord condition was getting worse. She wrote: "The illnes[sic!] I have is affecting my nervous system and there are a lot of bad things happening to my body at the moment.So now I am just dreaming about being able to walk and move and do things without pain,so forgive me for not dreaming about singing.. I am currently waiting for the desicion about my possible further treatment and one of the option is surgery in the neck/spine area and I hope that,the succesfull surgery would resolve at least half of my problems. It was really hard to admit it but this will also free me . Sad to hear she was great singer pal

@Jamal Blibel. If you listen to UnSun's album The End Of Life, you can definitely hear an Alternative Metal sound, especially on songs like Destiny, Lost Innocence, Closer To Death and Indifference. UnSun seem to be a hybrid of Gothic Metal and Alternative Metal, much like Type O Negative and Lacuna Coil are. Gothic Metal is bands like Tristania, Moonspell, Tiamat, Sirenia, Theatre Of Tragedy and Katatonia. Those bands are influenced by a mixture of Traditional Heavy Metal, Goth Rock and Classical Music, but if you listen to Type O Negative, Lacuna Coil and UnSun, they don't resemble the actual Gothic Metal bands I mentioned.
