जेजीयतां संस्कृतम्!
💫Welcome to the world of
Iconic Indian women!
By yours truly
@TheSanskritBoy-Premavani
⭐Based on the book
"Iconic Indian women" by
Smt Vishaka hari manni, which is an adapted translation of the book
"Satī Vijayam"
authored by our revered Guru
SriKrishnaPremiSwami
(SriSriAnna)
This Chaitra Navarātri
Let's learn,
Pass on &
Celebrate the matriarchal heritage to empower the feminine amongst us.
💫There are many misconceptions regarding yesteryear
Indian women that
a) they were treated as slaves
b) were not allowed to get educated c) Not allowed to be employed
d) were dominated by the male chauvinists.
💫However a deep
understanding of Indian history gives us many instances where
Indian women had equal rights to education and art.
💫They even ruled kingdoms with their astute political expertise. They fought wars and were victorious too.
💫These are not fictional, though they may seem difficult to believe. There
are many evidences to support the truth of these stories.
💫The inscriptions, manuscripts, books, the magnificent palaces
provide substantial proof towards the authenticity.
💫Towards proving this fact our revered Guru Shri
Krishnapremi Swami(SriSriAnna) authored the book called
⭐"Sati Vijayam"⭐
in Tamil, decades back.
💫It is a collection of 103 incredible women of different genres, just a sample, and a drop from the Oceanic
Indian Iconic Womanhood.
💫With the intent of making available these biographies to one and all, Sati Vijayam has been translated into English by Smt Vishaka hari and smt kousalya veeravalli.
💫Here we see women from the Vedic times; women from our well known Puranas and women whose names are etched in gold in our History.
💫Women's Empowerment is not a cliché coined by an intellectual.
It is Power, simply shown by action.
