Finally, a version that doesn't 'machine-gun' its way through these waltzes. Charmingly and musically phrased. Great tenor section.

Greetings from Melbourne, Australia. I don't often comment on KZbin videos. But this performance warrants the highest praise. The conductor, the soloists, the choir - all exceptional in every way. Stunning, mature voices and beautiful interpretations. What is extremely clear is the enormous amount of work that must have gone into preparing for this performance, and that each performer obviously has a great love of this music. That it is all performed from memory is staggeringly impressive. What also comes across clearly is that this school community obviously creates an atmosphere where each performer feels supported and safe to perform to the best of his/her ability.

What a delightful performance. The relaxed and joyful countenance of the conductor is embraced by the chorus and allows their voices to soar. And they’re having doing it! This is a choral gem.

Can't say enough good things about this group! What a wonderful performance! Each singer is involved, attentive to the excellent conductor because they've memorized all of it and can watch their leader. Good voices. Fine soloists. Piano duo also good. Everyone seems to be smiling! I'm sure that the audience was smiling also!

Thank you very much, OphelialnFrench for giving us the time stamps for this work. That must be a lot of work. On another note, I can't get over this choir that is singing from memory, and German isn't even their language. They're the best! 2022-03-16, Burlington ON Canada.
Fabulous phrasing, great tone. And that's a lot to memorize! Love the tenor solo.

Beautiful performance of a beautiful suite of songs. [Another reason to be proud of my DMA 'alma mater.'] Also enjoyed sharing the piano duet accompaniment with a colleague at Miss. State U. when the "Concert Singers" performed the work
