I've had to search KZbin for long to before I found such a beautiful rendition such as this, which musically makes sense and is indeed a pleasure to listen to, unlike the heavy laboured versions which exist and ignore the musicality which can be found in Bach, when it's approached correctly......what a lucky group of students to have the privilege to partake in such a performance

Very nice sound. I can tell the more mature singers because they aren't bobbing around like floats in a windy sea. Hopefully the younger ones will learn to control their bodies along with their voices. It's distracting to the point of nausea if watching, which is why I open a different window and only listen. Yes, I know the theory of movement while singing and "becoming one with the music", etc. but with so much movement in so many directions, it detracts from the performance.

I believe that all the singers have been encouraged to "move" with the music reflecting the dance-like praise. There movements (or non-movements) have nothing to do with their age or maturity. Regarding your feelings on the matter, we'll just agree to disagree. :)

@@KenWAnderson I just can't watch. Seasickness ensues. And this group has a much younger sound from previous years. Lots to learn, and they are in a great place with an incredible musician as their leader. Should be fun to listen to them mature as a group.
