Interesting concept: playing Grainger's cylinder recordings of the actual folk-songs to introduce each movement. I attended UNT back in the early 80's when it was NTSU. i was a music student myself for about two years. We didn't have this gorgeous performance hall. they have certainly moved up in the world. and yes, the wind ensemble is fabulous - just as it was back in the day.
