What’s the difference from dev on demand to Freelance?
@yassinertm
@yassinertm Ай бұрын
I think this : freelance = on site and remote payment on the project or over Time. On demand = big paycheck with anything you can build with speed and skills on the demand like design joy = on the monthly basis, he can do multiple webdesign on the client’s demand. Anyone , correct me if I’m wrong.

Working for a company remote. The best of both worlds from freelance and FTE. Handling small business owners and getting them on an expectation track is more work than their dev requests.

Saw the second vid that referenced this one. I had to come watch and leave a comment. This ain't for everyone, and if it ain't, keep it movin'! 😅 The normal corporate job route seems safe until they lay yo ass off in a terrible job market and "recession". But there's other opportunities out there. Money is still flowing, just gotta be more creative. I definitely need to get some content made. Appreciate the vid!

I particularly liked the metal detector advertisement presented by Equinox company. They created the game "Diary of a Merchant" (very old game, so no one updating..) The detectors available for testing in the game. And addresses of the stores also included. I'd say it's a great advertising method 😅

What about for a guy who wants to code as in actually focus on building applications for businesses around his vicinity instead of setting up shopify sites. Can he also do this type of freelance? Focusing on building /coding /developing apps for restaurants, schools etc in his state, instead of shopify?

The thing is small businesses don't need custom code what they need is something that gets them business. If you want to build custom code work for bigger companies and startups.

Isn't developer on demand just a freelancer 🤔
@CodingPhase
@CodingPhase Ай бұрын
Yes and no. Freelancing is more getting paid per project this is more of working for a company 1 or 2 tasks per month and holding a retainer. Think of it like having an employee for 25% of the cost and that employee only doing 25% of the work. It's hard to explain in a comment. I understand I didn't go deep in to it on this video since I'm going to make a series on this that will dive deeper into it

Do you think or know if this is also possible for someone who doesn't reside in USA? This is my ambition, but my home market is super duper small, and there aren't many freelance or contract jobs to go around, or, they're not readily discoverable. And the culture here is very skewed towards working for corporations.

Good question 🤔 it can be done and I think most likely people outside of US will find ways to start it before people here in the US.

This is why branding it's important of course you can't charge that cuz no one knows you. But if you build a brand around yourself and show you are an authority in this field trust me you will get clients willing to pay more than $500.. bro I be getting people that are willing to pay 5 to 10k for a shopify site and I'm not even trying to get clients. Because they see the value I provide they reach out to me. Remember what I said in the beginning this isn't for everyone lots will try and fail and some like yourself already gave up without even trying lol but guess what alot of people will do it and make it happen trust me...
