Untitled Zev OZ9 Hypercomp

The @zevtech 0Z9 Hypercomp shoots a bit flatter than @glockofficial G19 with a comp. The added weight and the longer rails gives the OZ9 a very different feeling recoil. Also the 18 degrees grip angle is more like an 1911, where the Glock has a 22°. I did change out the triggers to a @risengunworks and @fowlerindustries trigger

Great review I sold my Oz9 and beretta fix so I could but a atlas . After shooting subcompacts for carry I purchased the hypercomp after watching your video

Why in the world would you get two of the same gun to shoot one and carry one you’ve never shot before? I can’t think of a single benefit to shooting one gun and carrying a different gun. Someone explain how this makes any sense.

Completely agree. I wouldn’t trust a gun I have not shot or trained with, even if it’s the same model.

So, I assume that he does litterally shoot both, but he just uses one MUCH more during training. He would make sure both are reliable, and then train heavily with one of them. The idea being keeping the round count down on the carry gun so it's less likely to have a failure from high round count. Now, I don't personally agree with that, but that's me playing devil's advvocate.

Thanks for the info and the video. My friend just bought a hypercomp today. I have a compact and standard oz9 and I'm trying to figure out how to get a Holosun 509T red dot on it. It seems there's a mos plate adapter that you can install but I'm not sure if it will fit with the chimney like looking thing on the oz9. Might just have to buy one of those mos plates and find out for sure if it works or not.

Bought the same gun, and put a Holosun ACSS! Better than an RMR imho.
