The way you guys shoot your vids is very smooth and cinematic. Your narrative is laid out very well, coupled with the music and visual is quite graceful. I liked the pacing. You didn't dwell on rooms or items for too long. From this episode, I feel like you guys treat the things left behind gently and with respect to the former owners. Urbex vids usually instill me with sadness and impatience, but yours made me feel calm, sad but slightly hopeful. I really enjoyed this episode. Please continue making more!

LouisianaLady2015 and tina miller Those are unfair and generalized cynical statements (referring to tina miller's "YOU ARE SO RIGHT. IT'S A SHAME HERE IN THE U.S. PEOPLE DON'T REPECT ABANDONED PLACES." statement). I live in the US and I've been to a number of cool UrbEx locations where others before me have shown it respect. It's unfortunate when there are locations shown zero respect by people wanting just to leave their mark behind, but if you abide by the UrbEx code of "leave nothing, take nothing" you'll be living the change you want to see in the world.

I'm inclined to agree. A place of that age will have at least some drafts and ingress of dirt and dust. It's one thing to find some place that has been abandoned, but this has the feeling of "we think a place is abandoned, so lets trespass." Enjoyed the video though!

Actually dust is caused by human dander. Also it's in the woods not really near any roads that are traveled much so the lack of dust just proves no human activity on the site.

banjohusky they're not saying that homeless people would be treated like kings in abandon places & suddenly have food, electricity etc., but a roof over their heads would be better than sleeping on the side of a road if you ask me.
@dialogues41447 жыл бұрын
banjohusky that is because this place does not have owners now and nobody pays for its electricity and water supply. But if government pays attention to it , it can make this place totally liveable for the homeless.
@bobg16857 жыл бұрын
Not that easy, and you're taking an unrealistic perspective. You'd have to invest a ton of money into bring this facility up to livable standards (repairs, connect water, electricity, and sewer) and then you'd have to staff it, all at taxpayer's expense. There have been very, very few successful homeless housing facilities, and I can see this - once it became a homeless facility - turning into a public-sponsored eyesore with increased crime and public liability. If YOU really want to help - not just complain about why the government isn't doing something - go to a sporting goods store and buy a dozen small tent shelters and donate them to the nearest shelter. I've spent years involved in homeless projects and most "house the homeless" ideas don't work. If you had an inkling of the problem you might offer more that "it's a shame." Not hating on you, but this vid wasn't about the homeless, and thinking this is an answer for the homeless is unrealistic. This couldn't even be a successful low-income renovation, either, as there needs to be enough low-income citizenry to justify it, and there has to be a very local support infrastructure (schools, markets, etc.)

Amazing! I've never seen such a wonderfully untouched abandoned building. Great find, well done!

@The Confessor I see, everyone who disagrees with you is an evil nazi, kid. Let's see how much of your faith will restore the islamic religion of peace brought by those not-really-a-syrian refugees, you dumb fuck. Actually you don't even have to wait, just move out already to any european city area dominated by them.

Sehr tolles Video, Broken Window Theory. Allein die die Location ist super und wunderbar erhalten für ihre über 100 Jahre. Super Arbeit und vielen Dank fürs Zeigen. Freue mich schon auf die nächsten beiden Teile von eurer neuen Harz Urbex-Serie. :-)
