Good morning, Dan. I've gotten very good at finding bottle caps! 😂 It is all a part of a fun day out. The Mexican $10 coin and a bottle cap have almost identical tones and number, so if I want the money, I have to dig the trash. Thank you for commenting. Have a great day!

Great haul! Digging pull tabs sucks but there's always that chance...For me, it's in the nickel range. the horseshoe is a very cool find. There are actually some pretty cool iron relics out there although a lot of people skip iron. I have found axe heads, a horse buggy step and a few other things. I still do not have a horseshoe yet, great find! You can bring that horseshoe back to life with electrolysis, that's what I do with a lot of my iron. It's easy to get hooked on this hobby. Good luck on your next hunt.

Thank you. I'm so hooked! That's cool about the tip to restore the iron. I was delighted to find the horse shoe. There's something that just feels good about them. A horse buggy step would be a fantastic find! I appreciate you commenting. Have a good one.

Park mode is for shallow targets. Field is more for relic hunting. It targets much deeper. That brass item you found. You should consult a museum. That looks like a hand guard for a very old sword. Might be worth some bucks !! $$$

@MetalDetectingMermaid yes, I've been to punta de mita a few times and we ventured over to the other side of the bay and went to those falls with a tour about 6-7 years ago. I remember that little restaurant.
@MetalDetectingMermaid5 сағат бұрын
@@johnurso5184 That is so interesting! I hope you had a wonderful trip when you came. I love the area. The structure in the video (the large terrazzo) has survived the hurricanes, but the restaurant building that was on the primary side of the river was destroyed two years ago, and the bridge between the two has to be rebuilt every year. Now where the main restaurant was is a lot more rustico so, if they get wiped out again, it isn't so costly to them in losses or rebuilding. Thank you for commenting. No one knows about this little pueblo; I love that you've been here! Happy hunting.
