Thank you for your comment. It's a lovely time of day to be out. I saw on your channel page that you metal detect while scuba diving. I am slowly working my way to detecting while snorkeling and would love a small dive kit. Where do you dive?

Digging junk is always part of the game. But you dig less of it as you go along. Best way to learn is to just keep digging. Beautiful location and hunt. Finding toy cars is always fun 👋👍🧜🏻♀️

Thank you for your comment. I'm fortunate to live in a very pretty spot. The cars have been great fun to find! I have no problem cleaning up the beach. I didn't get into this hobby to find treasure necessarily. I found myself spending increasingly more and more time sitting in my house on the computer and wanted to embark on something that would get me outside, be enjoyable, not too expensive, solitary, and that I could always learn more about. As kid, I loved scouting for arrowheads, pottery bits, and cool rocks. It's perfect! I love metal detecting and can see how it can be addicting (in a good way). Have a great day. I look forward to watching more of your videos.

It is good that you are digging all targets... learning curve... also, all metal is good and even here in SoCal we find a lot of Pesos and they come in like iron. Dig enough trash and you will get something good. Also, as you learn the machine and numbers, things will get easier/better. We are rooting for you!

Greetings. Haha. Thank you! The children in my area are starting to get excited when they see the metal detector because they know they might get goodies. The same day I found the cars, I found a rhinoceros kid's toy too. When I gave the cars to the children, the one girl wasn't allowed to have one (by the group of parents), so she got the rhino and started stampeding the cars. 😄 I agree. being outside is always great.

Greetings and thank you for your comment. The other people I know in the area who detect find all kinds of good stuff, so it's just a matter of perseverance and continued learning. What do you use and in what kind of terrain do you most commonly hunt?

@@martinjervis1558 How exciting to have so much history there to be able to hunt! You also have such a large tidal range. Closer to the equator, our tide variation is minimal. I look forward to getting more comfortable with the detector and being able to snorkel a bit farther out along our shallows.

@@martinjervis1558 Thank you for the tips. I appreciate it. I have a few calm places in mind, but it'll probably be a month or two. I still have so much to learn on land. I do plan to go to a waterfall in the next week or two that has a shallow swimming hole just downstream. That'll be my first foray.

The whole area is really gorgeous. It's a delight to just be out on the beach regardless of what I find. Thank you for commenting. While Vallarta has a lot more people, some of the remote beaches only accessible by boat have rarely, if ever, been hunted, so I'm looking forward to exploring more of those.
