hey jongens mooi gedaan man en mooi dat jullie op de TU bezig zijn :D ik heb voor jullie wel een mooie uitdaging denk ik ik hoop dat jullie wat licht op mijn situatie kunnen schijnen ik woon in delfzijl strak aan de ZEEDIJK! mijn moestuin ligt op de damlaan te uitwierde (Delfzijl) dat is 1,5km van de zeedijk af van horen zeggen zit er zout water onder de grond en is een zoet grondwater pomp niet mogelijk!!! de situatie is als volgt: winter periode zeer slechte drainage van regenwater tis een modderbad en je zakt er zo 10cm in en je zuigt vast! de greep of de bats is je reddende engel dan :P! (er ligt nu drainage in en er komt een zonnepaneel pomp om het overtollige water weg te pompen naar de sloot tevens word de klei vermengt met compost en opgehoogt) de top laag is 50 a 60 cm zwarte klei grond daarna komt er direct blauwe knik klei is het mogelijk om een zoetwater pomp aan te leggen? met vriendelijke groeten Anton Tel GG Tukkerland

As deep as you can physically move it. This pump is a submerged pump that lifts the water. Pumps that suck the water can only suck from about 8 meter (25 feet) vertical distance at best because they depend on reducing pressure above the water and air pressure pushing the water up.

The plastic tube of the pump will bend along the 50m long...

Hi, a heavy pipe may be added to the bottom of the pump to keep it straight (and to prevent it from floating). Also the pump is generally used in a borehole with a relatively small diameter so that there is not a lot of room for bending.
