Unusual knot. How to tie a knot. Node you need to know

Looks like a Prussick without a loop, but it stopped before it got done. What is it best for, and can it be untied after you load it down?

The halyard knot is used when lifting logs, spar parts, etc. In the sailing fleet, depending on which mast the sail belonged to, it was called “main topsail” on the main mast or “fore topsail” on foremast. The gear used to raise the yards of these sails was called the main-marsa-halyard and fore-marsa-halyard. These tackles were attached to the yard with a halyard knot. It can serve a good purpose in our everyday life.
