Where I am it blooms monthly with lots of flowers with minimal fertilisers. Some ppl use unsweetened diluted green tea or coffee, energy drinks, full flush once a fortnight, or a homemade brew of rice water and something else. It is 88-95°F here with close to 100% humidity so your temp guidelines don't stand. I have 2 pots, 1 in compost regular potting soil and the other in cactus mix of lava rocks, perlite and pumice. The one in cactus soil grows faster and better. Same spot on window sill south facing so not much sun here, mist daily and full flush 2x a week with water.

I grow mine here in Atlanta Georgia. Blooms like crazy in July August. Main plant is 24 years old .

In less than stellar growing conditions your plant will definitely need fertilizer. Mist into the soil once in 1-2 weeks will do but don't overdo it.
