I love this because what Eckhart is explaining here is the ( Vesica Piscis ) it is well known in sacred geometry as being the very first shape which consciousness had created as it began to manifest into the Universe we all see today. It sits at the centre of the flower of life and it's known as the all seeing eye of wisdom, which we all emanate from and still reside in. Hence I've been waiting to hear you speak about this for a long time Eckhart. It really is beautiful in all it's manifestations. Thank you so much.👁️

Yup, thank you for those breakthroughs of consciousness, very transforming. There's an alchemist well known in my area who likes to say that every breakthrough of light through the body and the mind, every little ray of light or of inner gold when you let it through and through the ego adds up in your body untill you become the philosopher's stone. You are the ultimate philosopher's stone. Nothing can stop you then, not your mind, not your body, you just see the dimension clearly and it shines and expresses itself through you, and he makes the joke that you'd actually disolve and the rest of the atomic universe with you as you let more of it shine unto it. Because reality as we perceive is an illusion, objective reality is like a lucid dream even in our awake state. Well then there's no "circumstance" that you havn't brought about in your experience. And there's always a moment where 3d will drag you back, the ego freaks out and it wants to still exist, it wants to have a body and to be incarnated. Even if density doesn't disolve that fast from a linear perspective, but that's the beginning of the process. I mean the spirit world is as dense or real and palpable as the atomic world. Well that's a bit too deep, although it's still thinking in part.

You are right. It's rather a perverted way of entertainment to observe unconscious behaviours around me, even when I am the target! Thank you for pointing it out. Now it's even easier to keep myself conscious amid unconscious people. Be lighthearted, and treat it amusingly. Use other people's unconscious behaviors to confirm what we are not! Negative confirmation still serves a positive purpose. 23 August 2023.🤡🌱🍁😇💖🤠✔👍🎅🍒🍁⚘

Wiseman to his grandson " we all have two waring wolves inside our minds, a positive wolf and a negative wolf" Which wolf wins asks the grandson, " the wolf you feed" replies the Wiseman. Personally my advice would be " DON'T FEED THE WOLVES, full stop ", as all thinking positive or negative is still thinking. Replace thinking with trusting and suddenly there are no thoughts that actually need to be thought about and we are free to use our imagination for fun rather than worry and fear 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I have searched for my deeper self but cannot find it. The being that is aware of being aware seems like the same being that is thinking, that has likes and opinions, the ego. I see no distinction between my awareness and my thoughts. I can't find anything deeper than the ego.
@markfuller Жыл бұрын
You could be seeking too much? Individuating the observer (non-existent for most people) from the thinker is huge. How long have you had that? The more you practice that awareness, not identifying with thoughts (as much) leads to less reflexive/auto identification. In time (could be months, years) you realize "what is the observer when it's observing nothing?" Your thoughts become more like passing clouds (you are the sky). You don't have to observe as much (intently). That's when you're able to perceive a part of you that exists without observing it (or it observing anything). If the observer isn't observing anything, what's there? But, I wouldn't struggle to identify that. It will happen as a result of individuating you as the observer from you as the auto-thinker. You're like a lightbulb. It can illuminate a room, but not the energy that powers it. Once the room's illuminated, that just "is." The bulb is just "being." It can't perceive what powers it in the way it can perceive what it illuminates with that power.
@markfuller Жыл бұрын
Mark Epstein (buddhist psychiatrist) said something that resonated with me. He said that most people when asked if they're the same person they were at age 10-12 will say "yes." They can identify some element of being that was the same then as now. Even though they had different expectations of their life then; different resentments (not getting what they want at that age). You can't remember much about what you were thinking then. Today you're vastly more conditioned from experiences since then. But, still, most people can identify something behind the eyes that was them then, and is now. Anaka Harris (Sam's wife) said something that resonated with me too. Imagine being enclosed in a bag. Your only experience is sitting there in your bag, experiencing each moment as [something] in a bag. Then someone comes along and makes a small hole in your bag. Suddenly you're engulfed by this small point of light. You're fixated on it, intently trying to understand everything you see through it (explaining it all to yourself). Before long, nothing else exists but what you see with your eye pressed up against that tiny hole. Your whole inner experience is alienated from you now. Your entire experience is in that tiny hole. Maybe those pointings could open you to a realization. But, IMO just individuating from the thinker (developing the observer) is 90%. I think people go wrong when they crave the 10% remaining. I think that's the core of many non-duality teachers (the ones who emphasize it, as a fad). People want to rush to the "experience" of no self. I've seen people get hurt by that. I think others are just deluding themselves with a story of no-self. So, don't expect it, or need it. Just do the observer/witness stuff and be open to what that means.

I'm asking here, because this is the type of community of people who would know such a thing, but.... I have a question: What is "journaling" ?? Like, what do you write?.... and HOW is it helpful?? Thanks, in advance, to anyone who answers.
@markfuller Жыл бұрын
"Journaling" is typically identifying with thought, the opposite of what you want to do (let thoughts pass. They're clouds, you're the sky.). Journaling can be useful if you have an intrusive thought (pattern of thoughts). Commit it to paper; externalize it (face it completely, explore it). But, the popular form of "journaling" is more like memorializng ephemeral thoughts, feelings. As if they were the moment (not the moment itself). Kind of a conceited self-focused endeavor, "feel the feels" focus. The greatest truth I've seen is the buddha's "middle way." Be wary of "journaling" as a panacea, or as all bad. Either is error, the flip side of each other. But, if you can use it as a tool, then it's good.
@johngreen4683 Жыл бұрын
Hi, I don't know what journaling is in truth but I guess its keeping a journal of your thoughts, feelings and struggles, in my personal opinions if it involves analysing stay well away. Analysing feels like your getting on top of your fears worries and struggles but in reality we are just telling our mind "these things are important and you need to keep reminding me of them by producing more thoughts about them ". As someone who spent years analysing and suffering in equal measure my advice would be, please don't go down that rabbit hole 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Excellent Video Mr. Tolle! To say the Bhagavad Gita is a wealth of information , would be a gross understatement. Hinduism is my favorite religion by a landslide. The ONLY issue is that the Laws Of God do not exist. This is the reason I was asked to covert humans to Islam. Do you have access to your soul? In order to answer this question a human being would have to know their past lives. If you are unaware of your past lives, you cannot access the soul. (Ref: Treble Charger: Red). Some people may remember their past lives and try to forget them because they want to live this life instead. (Ref: Arkells: Past Life). I would like to point out no human being in this world is younger than 2000 years. After the crucifixion of Yeshua (Pbuh), new souls were not created.
