That's something he may decide to do down the road. Right now, he is dealing with engine issues. May have to replace it.

Sweet ride! I have a 49! My advice to him...keep it as ORIGINAL as possible...95% of these old gems are molested and ruined as far as I'm concerned... just take the back roads and enjoy being in 1948 again! Oh, and get that master cylinder changed to a dual, I did it, very simple swap!
