Thank you so much. Whoever made the original shoes was a skilled craftsman. The only addition I could wish for would be a close-up of what looks like a seam at the back. You said it was one-piece construction so I suppose that was the only seam but there had to be a joint somewhere to get that shape. A shout-out to whoever actually made the modern shoes might have been nice.

Looking at Torvald's site there is another seam running from the top inside edge down to where the big toe would be .

@@AlexIlesUK think so yh, had the problem with the exhibition that most of the top exhibits like the scutum & segmentata were so long & thin: fine for all the tik-tokers filming vertical, but the rest of us the horizontal really draws attention to the fact its in a glass box surrounded by people :/ but was def glad to have made it in

Well it was inside a hillforts, so it's likely a elite item, but it's really nice!
