It’s high time 😉 I sorted out this annoying graphical distortion. It’s been happening when I use my Meta Quest 2 VR headset to play Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. Come with me as I work through the settings, trying to understand why it is happening and how I go about finding a fix. I take a look at my MSFS settings, as well as the VR Friendly Prop Mod, OpenXR Toolkit and the Oculus Tray Tool settings. I’ve documented the process to share how I found the issue in the hopes that you too may have more tools to investigate your own issues.
Artificial Aviation is a KZbin channel I created to share my affection for aviation and flight simulation. Like most people, I can’t afford to own an airplane or get a pilot's license right now. The Simulator gives me access to miles of beautiful skies and scenes.
So! If you’re the kind of person who fancies flying, yearns for the yoke and just plain wants wings, you’ve come to the right place! Share my journey as I go from novice to… ok, not so novice. Looks like we’re cleared to land on runway 2-fun!
