What the melcchas call 'idol worship' the followers of sanatana dharma call murti puja These two terms have totally different meaning. Worshipping something that is not Bhagavan is idol worship. Worshipping Bhagan in His/Her/Their murti forms is murti puja. Please, Sir, I request you humbly to adopt the dharmic nomenclature/namig. Also, jiva is not = soul jiva is sat cit ananda (eternal = no beginning & no end) soul (as believed by Muslims, Christians & Jews) was created by God but is immortal (no death). It is a belief that something that has a beginning can have no end. Even thou we see that all things that have a beginning must have an end. The eternality of the jiva is called philosophy as confronted with the religions of faith ie the Abrahamic tradition. If you look into history you will find that temple destructions were politically motivated not because they wanted to erase indian religions. Most muslim invaders werent even practicing Islam appropriately. They just wanted power like the upper caste brahmins.
